and i got 120!!!
does that mean i'm clever...ish???
i did one ages ago and i got 116 so i'v gotten cleverer!

EDIT: and IQ isnt how smart you are. Its the ratio of your tested mental age compared to chronological age.

No, 100 is average (that's what I've heard anyway). 97 means you're just about normal. Not particulary dumb, not particulary smart. I get about 110-120 myself. Some of these tests focus a bit too much on how much you know too. And even if your IQ isn't too high when it comes to logical problems, it might still be much higher when it comes to social issues.

Personally, I think IQ tests are inconsistent and thus, flawed. A better statement of intelligence, especially on an internet forum, is being able to make good, logical posts and threads.

Internet IQ tests are never valid. Ive ranged from 117 to 164 on online IQ tests. Ive never taken an official IQ test where they actually put you in a room and time you and stuff. The fact that I could score slightly higher than Albert Einstein on an IQ test shows that it isnt valid, in my opinion. I don't feel like taking this test right now, but I will take it later, and post my score. Even if the test isnt all taht valid, it still feels good to get a high score.

How lame, I only got 109. I was too slow for the first four questions and just got timed-out. And I really had to take wild guesses at a couple of the faces questions because I don't know many famous Brit's. I should have been closer to 130 or 140. :cry:

Test the Nation? Ah, that was a TV show thing where they asked you 60 or so questions all night. Last time I did it I only got 5 or so wrong. Only one person in their large studio audience beat me, and that was by one. I rock. :cool:

Well you have to consider the crowd this forum attracts, that the tests may be inacurate and the fact that most people are idiots and bring the average down.

I posted a link about this with a long this of IQ tests a few months ago. I took three and averaged about 147. The one I took in college pyschology said 121. It sounds a little more accurate.

well i'm happy to bask in the glow of internet IQ test because it makes me seem smart....my best friend got 165 in a proper one....another got 170, she goes to oxford now and cried because she lost 5 marks ion an exam.....
