Metal Gear Solid 3 Help!

So, I just finished snake vs. monkey and I got the monkey mask. However, when I start a game of MGS 3 the monkey mask isn't there. How do I get the monkey mask to show up? Please help.

You're probably looking for it in the facepaint menu. It's in the item menu.

Its only real beneficial use is that, if you wear it during the final boss fight, it'll confuse her for a second, giving you a chance for a cheap shot. Other than that, it just makes it really hard to see anything in First Person View. Try wearing it during those really dramatic cut scenes, though. Nothing beats Snake getting all "Rrrgh why did you betray me?!?!?!" while wearing a goofy plastic monkey mask.
