My favorite of all time it's Bahamut.
My least favorite it's carbuncle.

The Hell?
Bahamut rwas renamed "Neo" at one point?
Was he named after Neo from the Matrix because he's practically all powerful, or did square forget that he's been around since FF1 and decide that they were adding a new (Neo) character of some kind?

Or is it just another sickening side effect of Square's not having gone under when it should have way back when FF1 came out?

I voted Odin, by the way. Yojimbo sounds slightly better as an alternate name. But if I look up it's origins and find that it measn something completely stupid and unrelated to the root character (Like cornbread, maybe. That's about as sensible as renaming Bahamut "Neo."), then I'm sacrificing all the respect I ever had for final fantas. I will not go ahead and buy the new games and a PS2 (Or whatever). I will but another nes on ebay with FF1, call it a fluke, and boycot the company for as long as I live.
Because it will be solid and undeniable proof that thay also have completely discarded the entire foundation for their empire in the name of pop.

Neo Bahamut was in ff7 as well as Bahamut Zero and Bahamut. He is one of the three bahamut versions on the game, and I don't think he was named after neo from the Matrix.

Anyway I voted for Doomtrain because he is the best Summon in all of Final Fantasy in my opinion.

nope, VII was in 1997, and the Matrix was made in 1999 I believe.

Anyways, I voted Phoenix, I love Phoenix, though I'm also high on Palidor from VI.

alexander is cool in ff9, mostly for the big huge wing factor:) I still don't get why a holy elemental would be a robot though. . .

Aside from having to pay him gil for every attack, excluding Overdrives and Grand Summons, Yojimbo's pretty dope.

i'd have to say that its a tie between anima and the magus sisters. both of them are extremely cool. however, the all conquering bahamet and ofcourse knights of the round are also pretty mega. i tend to go for the extremely cool summons that can completely obliterate the enemy with ease. yeah. :mad:

I like Bahamut because he seems cool but in terms of power I vote for Knights of the Round.

I voted for Alexander! He's the best of all of them, he always seems to be more powerful than any other Eidolon/Summon/GF. He pretty much saved Alexandria's butt from Kuja's Bahumut. Until the invincible came in & destroyed it/made it go mad as it somehow destroyed Alexandria Castle. Although that was all Garland's fault, I guess that was better than Kuja getting Alexander. He'd be almost unstoppable if that happened. Still, Alexander is the best one I can think of.
