It's a tie with me between black magic and time/space magic. Haste, gravity and meteor are all indispensible, but so are flare, bio and ultima.

I remember thinking that I was all about Black Magic when I played FFV. But nope. I was wrong. I would having to work to level my BM characters and everybody needed to know Haste ASAP.

I dislike summons. They're a lot of fun and really useful when they're needed... But they are always expensive and rarely practical for the common (And still even uncommon) brawl.

i am not really that reliant on any kind of magic, especially in 10, when i just basically had all my characters attacking,

hastega is my favourate spell, it is useful.

but my fave spells from other ff's are : Aura(8) and holy

Black Magic works for me. Flare, Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga...good spells. Bio ain't bad.

I mostly use supportive magic, that means time and white magic. I sometimes use black magic when I want to get rid of several annoying, weak enemies fast, and if a boss has got a big weakness for some element. I can do just fine without black magic in just about any fight, while white/time always give me several bif advantages. Protect, shell, cure, esuna and haste = love.

Dances are the coolest. Nothing like bustin' a move while putting your enemies through intense pain. If only that damn Mog didn't stumble all the time, it would easily be the best skill in FFVI.
