View Full Version : Mints - Immortal, Or Not?
This may seem ridiculous, but is there anyone you've ever met, or anyone here, that doesn't like the taste of mint? This isn't a condemnation of mint haters :), but i've been thinking - there's many types of food people don't like - fish, chicken, certain vegitables, the list is endless...but is mint possibly the least offensive flavour in the entire world on the taste buds?
I mean, someone doesn't have to be crazy about mint, but i've never ever heard someone say "you eat mints! you dirty beggar!"
I awknowldge that commercial flavours of mint are different to chewing on an actual mint leaf...which, i did actually find distgusting, so i'll center it on the former.

I'm not too keen on it, but that's only because I spent 8 hours one summer cleaning up a flower bed that was infested with mint plants and I couldn't get the smell off of me for a week.

I really like peppermint. And mint ice cream. I like the combination of mint and chocolate, like the mint/chocolate bells that are out around Christmas and York Peppermint Patties. I do not, however, enjoy after-dinner mints. You know, the little soft ones that just melt in your mouth? Ugh.
I could eat a million Jumbo Lifesaver mints, barf my guts out, than go back for more. That is how much I love mints.
