What are your thoughts on Christina?

I think she's an amazing singer. I really have respect for her, voice wise. I have her first album and her most recent one. Her newer album actually is written a lot by her, which also is something I have to respect.

I really don't like how she acts so raunchy and how she thinks that woman are feminist if they take all their clothes off and don't care what guys think about it.

Anyways, her voice has to one of the most unique and greatest in the singing industry. Her songs aren't bad, but her voice really makes her songs amazing. They seem to really fit her type of strong singing.

I like Christina's voice as well, I think it's awesome. Stripped is infinitely better than her self-titled album, and it shows her range, both in voice and song type, quite well. I don't really mind the way she dresses, I just think the nose ring needs to go.

Nice voice, poor music, terrible shame. Not fond of the image either.

this is gonna sound really shallow now, but... christina aguilera's hot... :p

anyway, what I noticed is: hot singers sing about crap (lame and shallow subjects)... although this rule, doesn't apply to christina all the time... and she does hav a great voice

I used to think she was just hot, but I think she matured a bit (so now she's not "just hot")... except when she had that whore fase and dirty came out... but at least she kinda got out of it, unlike another female singer of her generation...

Christina Aguliera...I would.

Let's face it, without the raunchy image she wouldn't make half the money she does. She is very sexy and I see no reason why she shouldn't show that off.

She's an awesome singer, but I hate her music. Although that's really all her voice is suited for...I don't particularly like the way she dresses---not exactly because I think it's slutty, though. It's just plain ugly. Who'd want to dress like that? I'm not sure if she still does it now, but I don't care---I hate her tan. She should think about how that's going to look in 20 years.

There are much more talented people than her, though, her voice is impressive. Her music is, for the most part, about as enjoyable as nails on a chalkboard. Her image definately doesn't help. People always look better with clothes on.

Yeah. People forget that it's not really her "true" image, it's the image she wants you to see. I wouldn't be surprised if her true image was based on that Mickey Mouse show or whatever she was in when she was younger.

I'm sure many of you would do the same, male/female, if you knew millions of dollars depended on it.

Her music isn't all bad. She has some pretty good songs too, like Can't Hold Us Down and Beautiful.

I really like the album "Stripped" and I think she has a great voice. As for her image and stuff, I really liked it at first, but now she seems to keep changing it (the weird short curly hair and stuff).

She doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks of her and from a lot of stuff I've read/heard in interviews she is just having fun performing and doing the "raunchy" thing, I don't think she's trying to be anything she's not or acting like a "slut". I really like her. ^_^

Yeah I love that song... she has a good voice but her hair not good and she shouldn't put red lipsticks!

I don't like her. I think she's a bad singer and incredibly ugly.

I don't like her, either. And I've heard a lot better.

Her voice just sounds really funny to me. But I guess I'm picky when it comes to female vocalists. They have to be somewhat original, soft and clear for me to actually listen to them. But uhm, what I mean is, her voice is nice I guess, but it's just not something I can listen to. :/

This is all just my opinion. So uh, yeah.

She does have a nice singing voice, but as of lately, she isn't doing any better than Britney with their images. I do liked her earlier stuff though, so it's all good. 8-)

I like Aguilera's voice but I don't think skimpy clothes make her a strong woman. Would any guy respect a woman who dressed like a prostitute?

But how long could the public stomach the happy-happy barbie doll image?

Amazing pipes, crap image, crap songs.

I agree with that completely except for crap songs. Some of her softer songs are pretty nice. But a lot are crap.

I don't hate her but i can't say that i like her either..

i have to admit that she has a very good voice but i don't like her songs that much...about the way she is dressing,i don't have any problem with it..

btw the "Nobody wants to be lonely" with Ricky Martin was a great song..

If you saw Aguilera, you'd never know she was a latina. She has so much makeup on that she looks caucassian.

She made a Spanish-album, but she doesn't even want to acknowledge it now. It's a shame though.

Christina Aguilera? Let's see....

Pros-
-She hates Eminem.
-She got a nice body.
Cons-
-She's a pop diva.
-That lip-piercing thang is kinda weird.

I really admire her voice, it's powerful, and she is VERY talented. I just can't understand why she went down the raunchy road...she looked soo much better when she first started!

Yea she has good voice and i really liked her first CD and i still have it. But her most recent ones sorta has that slutty feel for some reason. Sorta like Britney, started out at least ok, then kinda went....*splat* I dont like her that much now =/

I'm rather tone deaf so I cant say much about her voice, but I hate her music and I hate her image. I could give a crap if that's what she 'wants' us to see, or whatever... it's not for me to go on journey to find out who she is. She's no concern of mine, really. And I'm no concern of hers xD. Yep :skull3:

I can never understand that either. Is stripping and acting like a porn star the way to get respect for woman?? *cough* Britney Spears- My Prerogative video *cough* It is all a bit of a contradiction... one minute she says..."This is for my girls all around the world
Who’ve come across a man who don’t respect your worth" and then there she goes about not respecting herself and then she wonders why the guys call her a "whore."

As for her voice, it's evident she's a good singer. The problem I have is she can give me a headache. She works it best on songs like "Beautiful" where she really shows off a whole new light on her voice. I really respected her then. That, to me, was her really standing up for people. Unfortunately when people get bored there's only one resort for a female... it's a real shame.
