Is that like losing your keys or something?

If you love your kesy then yes.

It is a feeling like getting your heart ripped from your chest and having to sit there and watch the rancid dogs from hell eat it.

Yeah, and to make matters worse, my darling baby phone has gone missing too...man, I don't think it's fair for one guy to suffer so much heartache in his life :whimper:

No I have not. I am fortunate, but, then again, 'better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all'. Not sure if that's true.

I've been thining about that statement for a long time now, and various other forms of it. Interesting.

But onwards---that depends on what you mean, by loved and lost. A significant other? Relative? Friend? I can answer yes to two of those questions, although you could say I'm "over it" now.

My grandpa died and I loved him. I hope I don't lose anyone/anything else for a while.

I'd warrant at some point or another, we'll all have to go through losing someone dear and close to us. It will be painful and that pain will never entirely go away, but take heart in knowing that despite the pain, a new sense of joy will come as well, as the memories you have of that person, or set of keys, will be with you always. Cherish these memories and the time you have with those you do love.

I have lost many folk close to me, though I've been fortunate to be surrounded by others who still love me and guide me down this road of life.

Take care all.

Yes, me too. And I also lost my mother's handphone, which hurt too, because she raged at me. She's still angry at me.

Me too...sort of. My grandpa died when I was very little, and I often wonder if I could have known him better now, seeing as I'm soooo much smarter, wiser, intelligent, etc.

Back when he died, I was just...well...excited because his photo came in the newspaper. :( Sowwy.

A mean old b@%@#d stole my...er...my mother's handphone. DAMN HIM!!!! AND HE STOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ICE PLACE!!! :mad2:

Well, I was shopping in the shopping centre with my grandma, and then I lost her. Does that count? I found her at the donut stand though.

My grandad and family friend died last year, of cancer. My best friend was killed in a car accident in 2000.

Other than that, I've loved and lost twice. :p
