Stairway to Heaven ( or Hell? ) (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/stairway.php)

Just seeing the titles reminded me of that flash. >_> xD! Sorry, I know you guys have seen that a thousand times already.

My funeral playlist:
Mindless Self Indulgence - Molly, Clarissa, Bring the Pain O_o; Yes, I'm odd.
Rammstein - Fruer Frei ( Prolly spelled wrong but I'm to lazy to check ), Sonne, Deiner Herz Brennt
E Nomine - Vater Unser ( that'll be the big finale )
Lacuna Coil - The Ghost Woman and the Hunter ( I have that backwards prolly ), Heaven's a Lie, Trance Awake
Tatu - Clowns
KoRn - Fate
Yoko Kanno - "Black Escaflowne", "Dance of Curse, Escaflowne Battle Theme", "Tank"
DDR - Sakura, Nori Nori Nori

I can't remember the name but the theme song for Ranma 1/2

Then Requiem Overture cause that song > all

Yes, I know my list is weirder than weird.

...but it would be funny. :p

No.

Anyway, here are some songs I would like to have in my funeral: (purely because of the song title)

Bad Religion - Better off dead.
Gloria Gaynor - I will survive
The Corrs - Breathless

Anyway, what I really would like for my funeral is Europe - The Final Countdown. That song would rock in a funeral. NOT ON AN ORGAN THOUGH. That would ruin everything :rolleyes2 .

Aeris's theme ;)
Actually, that would be a nice song to play at a funeral. (For those who've played Ff VII, you know what happend when this song was played).Areith's theme, would seem like a sweet, yet sad song, it would be perfect for someone with that personality (sweet, kind and giving)

I don't know what I want to be played at my funeral. Nothing too gloomy I suppose.

After people would die in high school it always seemed like the school would play "Time of Your Life" by Green Day, completely ignoring the fact that the actual title of the song is "Good Riddance." It amuses me.

At my funeral my children will do the chicken dance.

EDIT: I totally didn't notice Psy already said Chicken Dance. xD

I think Queen's Another one bites the dust is just - funny. Would be great to see peoples faces when that was played.

That's what my dad told us to play at his.

Seriously.

I don't care what they play at my funeral. I'll be dead. I'm not going to spend any time in my living life worrying about what death songs most accurately represent me.

Anyone who plays video game music at their funeral should be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

That's no fun. They wouldn't feel any pain. Better have them fired into the sun at their wedding, just to be safe.

For you, Bleys, I'd think it appropriate.

I was thinking Ozma's Gameover, because I can't think of jack right now, and if I did, my mind would change in the next thirty years. And yes, I refuse to die any time soon, because these would be a bunch of wasted years if I croaked now.

Our game is over, over, this game is overrated, baby

Why is it that any music is ok, but suddenly since it happens to be featured in a videogame it'd not be ok to play it? Comments like this don't make a bit of sense to me.

Henry Purcell. "Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary."

Dante WolfWood

I'd rather have 2 certain poems read at my funeral:
1.The poem I write: "The Freedom of Music"
2. which will drive away people of my Funeral: "The Dying Atheist" by:anonymous.

but if i had to choose a song, it would be.....Something by Jimi Hendrix or....Under the board walk, has nothing to do with my death or anything but it was my father's favourite song.

What about "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead?"

Hilarious!

Anyway, at my funeral, I want happy music played. I don't want people to be too sad.
It makes me sad to see others sad. But then again I don't want TOO happy music played 'cuz then it would seem like people are happy that I am leaving...

"Deeper Underground" by Jamiroquai? Hmm...
On a less distasteful note, Stairway to Heaven would be great, and to be honest, Aeris' theme would be unbelievably fantastic, i can imagine it now, or the Prelude theme.

Gotta agree really. Fair enough if it was like, the tetris theme or a soundtrack with game-boy quality sound, but in terms of a final fantasy track or something, i think it's easily as moving as any song released into the popular (or however you call it) music sector. Uematsu said himself, that people would ask him what his job was, and say "ha, that's hardly a mans job is it? pff" but it was what he loved - and if you love listening to video game music as well as or as opposed to 'normal' music, then fair do's.
