I have noticed a distinct lack of posting about Danny Elfman's quirky 80's band, so I have started an appreciation thread for anyone who may enjoy these guys.
Oingo Boingo was the band that composer Danny Elfman fronted from 1978 to 1995. They were one of the first rock bands bands to feature a horn section, and therefore they are somewhat of an influence to modern ska. Their music ranges from goofy and humorous to creepy and serious, covering genres like rock, pop, ska, new wave, metal, alternative, and more.
So who out there is a fan of this awesome but underated band?
