naming your children FF style

Ok, I was just wondering, would you ever name you children after FF characters? or would that just make you think that your 11 month old "wakka" will grow up to be a blitzball star? it'd have to be the right name, and i'd consider it.

on the other hand, naming your kid tidus would set him up for a lifetime of trouble.

so, if you were to name your kids after final fantasy characters, what would you name them and why?

Whenever I type in Yuna or Tidus pictures of babies come up on google, so they could well be called that!
I think in like 10 years time noone will know the names are final fantasy related, so it mightnd matter that much.
I think Luca is a nice name :D
And I'm getting a guniea pig called Auroch!

Final Fantasy characters need to get normal names. Like Frank. Cloud would have been cooler if his name was Frank. And Sephiroth could have been Basil. Frank and Basil, duelling for the fate of the world. Yeah :love:

I never thought of it as a name, but i do agree with you.
If it was a girl her MIDDLE NAME would be yuna, and if it was a boy, his MIDDLE NAME would be Auron. I don't think i'd dare give them an FF name for the first name.

Sure. Most FFs allow you to name your characters anyway, so pretty much any name applies.

I'd never name my kid anything from a game/book/movie, BUT if I was forced to, then I'd go all out. Sephiroth, Matoya, Steiner, Ultimecia, anything else outrageous.

Names like Kain, Tina, Barret, and Vincent arn't that bad of names. Of course, if I did name my child that, I'd never admit that I got them from Final Fantasy. I'm pretty sure my wife would divorce me on the spot if she learned that I named our kids after video game characters.

I think Lenne is a real name, because one of the voice over actors for Project Zero is called Lenne Eberhardt!
If i had twins i'd call them Lenne and Luca/Leo!

I think i would consider calling a girl Rikku, or maybe Kaori (SSX). Girls names can be a bit more adventurous sounding tho, if you were to call a boy Squall or something, i think he might resent you later in life.
