The first one I can watch over and over again, but the last two were complete crap, and totally unecessary. Blegh. So, has a whole, I guess a D-. Yeah, they sucked that bad, I'm afraid.

:D

The first was great and original and i saw the second in theaters, but I didnt feel like spending 5.50 to see the third. Its too bad because it started out so good. Kinda like Star wars...*cough* kids cant act *cough*

Part 1 was awesome, part 2 was a good setup for a good finale, but part 3 was not that finale. The last one was pretty bad.

I agree with Mr. Murder. First one was great. Part 2 was a pretty good set up for what could have been a really awesome final movie. Too bad they felt like <img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif>ing the audience in the eyes instead.

The trilogy was really good up until the last 15 minutes. That ruined the whole thing.

I give it a good solid A. I really liked the symbolism and philosophy present in the first coupla movies.

in the third at the end fight scene, though, I kept expecting Neo's hair to turn gold and start shouting "Kamehameha!" all over the place. If Majin Buu had showed up, or the Supreme Kai, that might have added just a little bit of comedic relief to that really kinda dumb fight scene.

But the movie was saved by the presence of Seraph. that man is extremely cool.

I think the Matrix trilogy changed the way that movies are made in terms if special effects. The first one I think was marvellous, the other two were ok. I didn't come out of the cinema feeling that I had wasted 2 hours of my life.

The first movie is good the first time you watch it. The good thing about the movie is the suspense though. Watching the movie a second time is boring. The second and third movies are terrible. Every hint of mystery is essentially sucked out of everything. The religious overtones are so obviously shoved into your face that they may as well have started calling Neo "Jesus" in the third movie. First movie B, trilogy D+.

The first film was fantastic, and the second often unfairly criticised. The action scenes were spectacular, and the plot decent enough to set the trilogy up for a decent finale. It's just a shame that the third film was lacking in every department, really.

I'd give the trilogy a B overall, since as a single story it's reasonably enjoyable. Factor in the Animatrix backstory with that and it's a good series, with the good outnumbering the bad to create a watchable product.

I liked the first one enough to buy the video, not the second two though.

I'm pretty sure I really, really like it. Of course there are a lot of parts that just make me feel stabby.

I like to pretend that there was no Matrix 2 or 3.

Even after watching the first Matrix again, it's still a great movie.

The series got worst after each movie. Although Revolutions/Reloaded were just one big movie, it looked like the W Brothers tweaked it after the release of the 2nd one. I never liked the 3rd one all that much, the action scenes were pretty drab compared to the 2nd movie.

I saw the first one and it wasn't bad. I didn't even bother to see the second and third ones, because I knew they were going to suck.
