Which one is it? In my opinion, it's gotta be Beetle Bailey. I've been reading the comics for years, and I can't remember one day when I laughed at it.
Come on, Family Circus is only a million times worse than Beetle Baily. :p

State of the Union. Or Cathy. Or Garfield.

At least Garfield makes me go "heh" sometimes, and same for Beetle Bailey. Family circus or State of the union on the other hand... people still read that?

I like how State of the Union is blatantly racist some times, too.
Desperate Dan of the Dandy. It's scary to see people enjoy laughing at a obvious autistic who is so "dumb" he usually destroys the town. Har.

What's State of the Union?
I don't like Mallard Filmore or Rex Morgan or Mary Worth. The latter two are completely pointless wastes of space. Let's serialize a soap opera/advice column in the comic section! Horray!

Oh man, State of the union..
I either stop reading halfway through or read the whole thing and regret it.
In a more general way I hate comics like this
Slide 1:
Bob: whats wrong betty?
Betty: I just got back from the doctor....
Slide 2:
Bob: .....and? *worried*
Slide 3:
I have cancer! *tears*
Ha.....ha? Serious commics are pretty lame. Its not the soap opra section, its the funnies. FUNNIES!
Another, I have been following funky winkerbeen recently. He asked some chick to marry him 5 days ago.....they are still in the resteraunt....being unfunny
Family Circus

For those asking, State of the Union is a conservative comic that makes Mallard Fillmore look like Calvin and Hobbes. At least Mallard Fillmore has characters.
A recent example would be a comic in which Kofi Annan begs George W. Bush to restart the Oil for Food program in Iraq because "I need new rims for my Bentley, and my wife/daughter(i forget which) needs more bling-bling."

State of the Union does sound terrible but I hate peanuts the most. After 50 years missing the football is not funny anymore. Nor is Charlie Brown being a complete loser. Its just sad.
Rex Morgan, M.D.
Any Soap Opera style comic.

Mallard Fillmore is quite irritating, as is Sylvia, which is a collection of horribly drawn, poorly lettered nonsense that plagues every weekday comic strip. Family Circus isn't really that good either, and Cathy has never really been funny to me, but then, I'm not a middle-aged woman. Same goes for Luann, I'm not a teenage girl so I don't like it so much, though when the strip focuses on her brother it tends to be more interesting to me.

Mary F'n Worth! Hands down, that is the sorriest excuse for a comic that was ever inked! Pretty much the same deal for any other soap opera-y comic.

Mallard Fillmore, Cathy, Born Loser, and The Lockhorns are all horribly horrible. Oh, and I also hate Doonesbury. Sue me.

It's got to be Family Circus.
At least most of the comics mentioned here (like Cathy, etc.) tend to have some kind of punchline or joke, which the Family Circus does not. It's not even heartwarming, because it usually makes me angry :p
<a href="http://www.insidejoke.tv/200105/FamilyCircus.asp">This site</a> contains some of the more amazing Family Circus comics.

God spare us the painful idiocy of Family Circus.
Mark Trail is too serious--never funny--and predictable to boot. Cathy belongs on TV as a soap opera. Rose Is Rose is generally a waste of time. For Better Or For Worse is often For Worse. Marmaduke used to be kind of funny, but it rarely entertains me anymore.
Garfield was one of my favorites, but the style does get old.
Peanuts is just classic--unfortunately, it's doomed to repeat, since Charles is dead, and so far as I know he didn't allow anyone else to draw new strips. So it's getting old, too.
There's probably more I'm too tired to think of.

Doonesbury. Really boring,, I have no idea why it's publicated. I've been reading the funnies since I was 7 and I've never found it the least bit amusing.

Doonerbury is a political comic and is not ment for little kids. It is meant for adults who follow politics. I use to think it sucked but now I think it is decent. It has really good moments and then there are those other days.

I agree. Doonesbury has it's moments and when it does, they're moments to remember.

I rather like Doonesbury since I tend to follow politics, and dislike Bush. He's awfully good at ripping into the Bush administration.

He is good at ripping into any administration and their faults :D
I follow politics enough to enjoy Doonesbury most days. I think my favorite one in the past few months was when Bush(Roman War Helmet) was talking and they had a mic on him with Cheney on the other end telling him what to say. But the two boggled it up when Cheney told him to say "Go <img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif><img src=http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif> yourselves" That was a good one.

I like Beetle Baily, he's sweet. Marmaduke is the worst.

Another one I think sucks is Rugrats, the ugliest infants ever invented. They won the hearts of millions through toilet humor and with enough merchandise to flood Santa's workshop. And now, they made a comic strip about them? They look like someone filled a burlap sack with babies, hung it from a hook, and took a baseball bat to it!
Ok, so the plot's not that bad. But if you want a comic about babies, I'm sure there's one with babies that don't look like Mike Tyson's sparring partners.

Family Circus is the spawn of Satan. Garfield's gotten old too. Doonesbury is funny if you follow politics closely. Boondocks was funny until they pulled it from Our newspaper for bashing Bush too much. :hot: Dilbert is always hilarious, It's one of my favorites. Calvin and Hobbes was the best comic strip ever, followed closely by Bloom County ( Bloom county has been ressurected as "Opus" REJOICE!)

Cathy is the WORST, man! I can only read a comic about a woman who stresses about her weight so many times... it is SO boring. It's also really frickin' long too! At least you can finish a Family Circus strip in like 3 seconds... it takes like 45 sec - 1 min to finish a Cathy strip!

I was going to say Family Circus until I looked at the ones on the site Kirkpatrick posted. That was hilarious in a completely unintentional way. I can't believe someone actually got paid to write that stuff.
Garfield has gotten really bad as of lately.

Family Circus--hands down.
In a nutshell, here is garfield (sp?) in the first scene
Five screens of nothing later, the second attatchment occurs.
Thanks to Maddox for the pictures. Too mad his site has some bad stuff on it or I'd give the link.
