And the FFVII symbol is the one from the original game, not the advent children one. You can tell by the meteor. AC looks like the top of midgar, circular. (((probably done now))))

Yes, she's 18. That would make her 16 in the game. It doesn't matter where you get your information on her in-game age, but if you have sense enough to think that the movie is two years after the game, and Yuffie is 18 in the movie. I search everywhere I can every single day to try and find new information on AC. So far I think I know quite a bit. :D

Oh, I may be getting a little off topic, but what does everyone think of Cloud's AC clothes? I think he looks totally awesome! :D

yeah, Yuffie should be 18 in AC, my strategy guide and manual say she's 16 during the orginal VII
Wonder why Cait Sith was left out, not that he would really add anything to the story but I guess not even Square is clever enough to get him in the plot

I highly doubt that Square isn't 'clever enough' to put Cait Sith in the film. They probably felt that there would be no reason for him to be in it. I don't see why he should be. He was always a hated character on my part anyways. :shoot:

1. Cloud's cloths definetly do look cool, there isnt really another word to describe them, or him, better. He definetly looks great in AC , slight droolage....oh come on girls! am I wrong? :D

I don't think Cloud looks very "goth", but his new clothes are a far step up from what he wore in VII. (zip-up sweater=sexy :love: ) And his hair...well, let's just say it looks like it's no longer breaking a few laws of physics. ;) All-in-all, much better. Oh...and you're very right, V. Valentine. From what I've seen so far, Vincent looks like his new-and-improved AC image is definitely working for him. :love: ;) As for Tifa...I think she looks better in AC, but I also think she looks a bit like Rinoa in a sneaky sort of way. The rest of the characters look fine in my opinion...except for possibly Red XIII, who looks a bit...poofier, maybe...than I had expected. I mean, there's not exactly a lot of AC images of him going around, but he didn't look as streamlined as I'd expected. (My German Shepherd is more streamlined... ;) )

Cloud doesnt look Goth methinks (just MO) He just looks damn hot. Its so juvenile but I am such a AC Cloud thunker. He's absolutly gorgeous. See pics :love: :spin: Never been a huge fan of Vincent's looks myself, little bit too broody for me. I just liked his tragic back-story.

Completely, its odd you saying that because I remember after having watched the trailers a couple of times, I immeadetly thought "she looks a fair bit like Rinoa here" Very similar looks I think.

I'll concede that Vincent isn't for everyone. (Read: less competition! :thumb: *evil laugh*) But don't worry, you're not the only one who's a Cloud thunker. He's dead sexy, and I'll whack anyone who disagrees (including my little sister... ;) ) In fact, just a week or so ago, three friends and I sat and discussed at length how sexy Cloud is...so much, in fact, that the father of one girl (the one whose house we were in) got disgusted and left after thirty minutes of hearing us "cluck like a henhouse". :D On a side note...you have the same taste in pictures as me--I have all three of those hanging up on my wall (and some other pics as well) so I can have something worth looking at first thing in the morning. :love:

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Tifa resembles Rinoa! :) My friend told me I was crazy, but...the outfit looks (at least to me) more like Rinoa's than Tifa's original VII outfit, and the hair could almost be a wig lifted from Rinoa's scalp. I mean, it's not a bad look, don't get me wrong--just makes me think a lot of Squall's woman. ;)

Tifa's outfit isnt that much like Rinoa's I think, but the hair is extremely similar and so is the general face shape and the eyes, I think so anyway

True, Rinoa was like "Cloud I love you!" when he was all like "yeah,whatever". Then she was in that coma and 'thats' when he decided he did like her (great going Squall).
Whereas Tifa's feelings bout Cloud were always pretty obvious but she never really acted on them and was quite repressed about it....weeell, its hinted at that something happened at the end of disc2 but we dont see anything.

But I still say Tifa in AC has a great similarity. Hmm, I'll find some pics and post them later, or if anyone else beats me too it then we'll see.

EDIT - Reno does look alittle funky doesn't he. Overall though I think he looks pretty cool, I like his hair's colour and style. Rude looks perfect, exactly the way I'd imagine him

Well, I didn't mean to imply that it was a really obvious connection. Just that she looked a bit like Rinoa. I think if you lined up Rinoa, AC Tifa and original VII Tifa, AC Tifa would look like a blend of the two.

I agree, Reno looks kind of "off" in Before Crisis. And I do think he looks a little...different?...in AC. But I don't think it's an entirely bad change (the AC one, I mean, not the BC). It was hard to get from the graphics of VII a clear idea of what the heck Reno looked like, anyway. Besides, the tongue-sticky-out thing--whether you like it or not--does seem like something Reno would do. At least, I think so.

Hmm...anything else...*skims posts* Yes, Sephy is very hot, I agree. I think his eyes in AC will most likely be the same blue/green cat-eyes that Kadaj (and, in all likelihood, Yazoo and Loz) sport, which you can see in at least one of the trailers that I know of.

:lol: Easy, there! Androgynous is used to describe something that's not really overly male, nor very female in appearance--something that kind of has both conventional masculine and feminine traits. Nothing offensive meant by that--just that Yazoo's features aren't quite as masculine as some other characters'. (Dwayne, the running commentary over my shoudler, says Yazoo's a "pretty boy". So there you go. :O_O: ) But no, I like Yazoo and Kadaj, too. ;) I wouldn't put them down intentionally.

And if I remember correctly, Kadaj is the only one whose eyes I've seen a distinct screenshot of, thanks to the dramatic close-up of one of his eyes in one of the trailers. But I assume it's safe to say that Yazoo and Loz have the same kind of eyes. Unless anyone has screenshots that show Yazoo's and/or Loz's eyes clearly...?

there's a slight difference in the shape of their eyes, like in the pic of Yazoo, his eyes seem to look, i don't know, longer i guess than Kadaj's. and Kadaj's are wider than Yazoo's. A subtle difference, but it's there.

On a futher note - Yup, the fights scene's better be good, but from what we've all seen so far I think I can safely say they're going to be fairly mind-blowing. I'm not looking forward to Loz versus Tifa fight because we all know from screenshots that she lose's it eventually :(

nice amra. you've put my words about computer guys onto the screen. You must be reading my mind or something. It would be nice to some extent. but there are just certain things they, unfortunately, can't do. I don't want SHM to die. Maybe be beaten badly, but not die. If they do, I want Kadaj to cut Cloud right across the chest and wound him badly, or do some real damage to him. I'm wondering where Cait Sith is. We've seen everyone but him. Even Bahamut *fused with all three bahamuts from FFVII and i'm making that up* has made an appearance. For the love of strawberries even Aerith/Aeris made a small appearance. But then again, what would Cait do?

Seppy's role might be mediocre, but plays an important part in Cloud's character or something like that

Well, to me, those ribbons look pink. Tieing a ribbon or band on one's left arm is a sign of morning. (See: Rinoa, morning for her mother I'm assuming.) Considering that pink was Aeris' signature colour, it is the team's sign of rememberance and grieving.

Heh heh... :D I remember the first time I heard that voice...my friend (also a Vinglomper) practically threw herself through my door, fell into the chair in front of my computer, and was banging away on my keyboard panting "You have got to HEAR this guy!" while I was freaking out thinking someone had broken into my house to check their e-mail. ;) But you're right, they both have very sexy voices...veeeery sexy :love:. I actually can't complain about any of the voices (that I've heard). And speaking of voices, has anyone heard of any official English voice actors? At all?

Also, I agree, FFVIII Fan--all the women look very nice. All the characters look nice, for that matter, even the monsters (if you can count them as "characters". And it's a good thing they do--can you imagine watching AC if it had graphics like the original game? :lol:
