Question about Nibelheim *spoilers*

Ok, explain how Nibelheim didn't get burnt down. I know that Cloud's past was manufactured with Zack's past due to his body reacting to Jenova cells and Mako infusion, but I never understood how Nibelheim didn't burn down.

It did burn down. Shin-Ra just came in and repaired it afterwards. It's just laziness on Square's part that it looks exactly the same afterwards as it did before it burned.

Oh ok, i never seemed to catch that part. Yeah that is kind of lame that it's the EXACT same town.

Shin-Ra didn't want anyone to know about the Sephiroth Disaster so the recreated the town exactly as it was & silenced the survivors & replaced them with Shin-Ra employees posing as townsfolk. Two reasons for this, the first i've stated, the second was to be able to monitor Jenova & report any activity. Only place they never replaced was the Shin-Ra Mansion, seemingly because by then it was full of monsters. If you read the letters on Tifa's desk it tells all.

I never realized that before, thanks for clearing that up...
I havent played it completely through for quite an extended time though, so that explains why I never caught on...I was 10ish last time I went all the way through...>.>
I still love it though, and I might replay it again with all my extra knowledge from research... :love:
