Battling Minigame

Does anyone else think that the battling minigame could almost be its own game? It was a lot of fun, with all the unlockable gears. The big arenas were better than the ones in Xenosage's battling game, I think. Plus, XG's actually affected the plot.

There's been talk that--way back, like in its earliest conceptual form--Xenogears was actually a fighting game and that this minigame is all that's left of part of its development.

And, yeah, it's fun anyway, especially after you get Xenogears.
