After the second battle (the seed test), after the instructor (whats her name) kills the robot, the game crashes with an error about binkw32.dll

I'm using:

winxp SP2
radeon 9550 latest official drivers
integrated audio latest drivers
patched 1.2 version
tried running in 16bit color
tried all the video settings
and also in compatibility mode.

any suggestions?

it must be cd problem. if u can run the game it should be no problem with u machine.

ATi catalyst drivers are twitchy at the best of time's. I'd suggest you try some older driver's and see what happens.

alright ill roll back my drivers and see what happens..

as for the CD prob..any possible fix?

I've also got some omega drivers i'll try that as well

Go with the PS version (or ePSXe, but shhh!!! I didn't say that).

ok i think ive found the problem: the cd

i can't copy the files to my comp, it gives me some kind of error, so i can't create a cd image. so, if anyone knows where i can get a copy of the CDrom files (if it even exists)...?
