I got realy sad when i first read about the expensive monthly fees and that you had to have a credit card to pay them. So i had so sell the game. But now i wonder who the heck does this game turn to, who
did square-enix thought would buy this game?
The age rating (in europe) says it from 12 years (i think) but you have to be about 13 to use playonline, 15 to have a credit card with that functions and 18 to register, And you also need a permanently job
so you can be sure that you can pay the bills.
Im 14 and i have been a fan of Final Fantasy since 2000 and this is the coolest game in the series yet.
But i do not have plenty of money and i do not have rich and careless parents so i can not play this game. So who was meant to play this game (and who is playing it)?
-Spoiled kids/teenagers
-18 years old with no life
-old people
-adults with no life

I bought the game, I bought the expansion, I pay the fee's for me and my brother and sister, and I bought the guide. I do it myself. i dont think its spolied kids that play the game or people with no life. i am also 14 and i pay for it myself i just give the money to my mum and i am using her card to pay for it because i dont have a card of my own cos is ant save money lol.

Yeah my mom sued her card to get me registered but I had to cahnge the info to my debit card so it charages out of my checking account every month.You know what I work to and I'm only 16 :P BTW I have a GF.and i have friend sirl i have a life.How can oyu come up with such conclusions

The majority of players are actually over 15...i remember in an older LS i was in youngest WAS 15..oldest being 32. The majority of people are 18-22. Adults play this more...

I remember the average age of a gamer is like 26 or something. OH and tons of college students play online games, I'd know, I'm there. SO yeah 18-22 sounds right for college age, in general at least.

hehehe im 16 and i play this i baisicly dont eat lunch for a few school days to pay for this this game is well worth the $ let me just say this im sick of ppl saying the you shouldent pay for online games listen it costs money to maintain a server if we didnt pay for it square would have to pay for it out of its own pocket which would result in a lower quality of square enix games
