This question has been on my mind for awhile I just have not had the time to post it...so.. here we go: On avarage.. how many memory card slots do you use for FFT?
If you use more that one, what level did you get to before you started another file?
I am just wondering if I am the only crazy diehard fan that uses an entire memory card just for Tactics :rolleyes2

Hmm I use two slots on my memory card.
I topped out at level 99 on both  Oh YEA go me....
But using a whole memory card? Thats a little too much for me

No, I used to have a lot. Not a whole card, but like 8 or 9 files. Now I'm down to 3, one that I'm working on, one at graveyard of airships(mastered), and one outside of Orbonne (mastered).

Two slots, one for normal areas where I can still level up at, and one for the long quest sequences where you fight several battles at a time.

its a great game, to me though 2 is enough. 1 as a starter, trial and error kinda thing. and the next is the same, only i go back through and pick up all the stuff i missed or wished i did before an event.

Normally I use three, but in my last game I had six. It was mainly so I could backtrack without starting over. I had a save right before I started propositions and the rest spread out in five hour increments or so. Now that I got all the propositions and items I have two saves with that data.

You are not the only one Dodhungry, I also have an entire memory card (15 slots) just for tactics. I usually use 3 files for each game that I have run. I usually start a second game file before Algus leaves the party, and a third at the start of Ch. 2.You see, I'm trying to get a mastered game (all Items, all proposition treasures and lands, all job skills mastered for all characters), so I keep a lot of files in case I have to go back because I missed something. My current game has 4 files because I also kept a save of my party at the start of the game (lvl 4) to compare stats with my eventually finished characters. Can you say, "Obsessive"?

"OBSESSIVE!"
I get the feeling you and BG-57 are also using 298573284579 files for reference on the trivia thread. Smart thinking.
I have 3 files. Mine, my friend's, and my old one saved right before Altima. (I like to kick him around once in a while.)

Hrmm thats interesting.. The reason why I have sooo many files is this. I have my main file(s) which is all lvl 99 characters that can whoop up on anything/anybody. All my other files are ones that I started to be better than my main file but usually never completed the task at hand. So all my other files have various levels that I stopped playing at such as level 78. Level 34. My newest is currently at level 24 and I bet I won't play all the way through on that one either.
I have also been known to take some of my files and put them on other memory cards to let my friends see what a good party is like and let them see if they like the game or not.
Thanks for your great input. Very interesting.
