I cant freakin wait for tekken 5. When is it coming out anyway. I heard somewhere here in febuary but then I also heard it was delayed to winter or something. Man I hope not.

I'm probably gonna skip Tekken 5, 3D fighters and I don't get along. The only Tekken game I ever loved was Tekken 2. That game was awesome.

Nothing against people who like the Tekken game's. But thats how I see them these days. I used to love Tekken, but then I played Virtua Fighter 4 and realised how poor the Tekken game's actually are.

Actually, with Eddie Gordo, all you have to to is mash random buttons to win.

Says it all really. The only Tekken game I like these days is the version for the GBA. As it plays more like a 2D beat 'em up.

i played the arcade version and it is truly awesome. devil jin... just great. plain jin... just great. many of the old characters are back, too. you gotta try it.

most of the characters from T2 are in T5. ANd i can't be the only one who noticed that there's like a new Jack for each tournament *thought i'm not sure about 1 because i haven't played it*

Yes, I agree that Devil Jin rocks, along with Xiao and Hwoarang. I can't wait to play it, esspecially with the three i just listed and Steve. And, there's supposed to be a minigame telling about Jin's past so I can't wait for that either

i was short of money and i just got to see one of steve's outfits and it kindda sucked. he looked like a normal, uncool boxer. i like his old boxer outfit much better.

I heard in 5 you fight jins great grandfather (kazuyas grandfather( hehachis father) Jinpachi mishima but I dont think you can play as him :mad2:

The only thing I dislike about the Tekken story is that it seems the only people that have really died in the storyline and haven't come back in sequels was the original King and Jun. Jun was my favorite character in Tekken 2 and there wasn't anyone to really replace her until Tekken 5, where some other girl named Asuka plays like her a bit.

He is dead, thats haihatchis father. And seeing as haihatchi was 80 years old Im not sure how his fathers so... alive.

Im sure you can just avoid him during the round and wait for arthiritis to set in.

HIs father was in some kind of isolation that I guess kept him alive and after Heihachi was killed by the Jack5 assault, whatever bound him was destroyed too...or from what I know

he might be something of an unlockable/extra/do something insane to unlock him like a 53 hit combo, but i know he won't be a regular character on there. GO to the link and read what it says on Heihachi

(And I would just like to say that they must have just added him in, which I don't know why. The game was smooth until they brought him back)

Why in the world she wants to help Heihachi...*nervous glances* esspecially after Tekken 3, but you know who has some dumb reasons for being in the tournament? Kuma and...Nina and Anna. I love Nina, but after having a shootout with your sis and no outcome, leave it at that or something. And Kuma....

That's why I don't think they should have brought Heihachi back. All of the people's stories are a bit messed up I think

Kool Im planning to get this installment as i missed out on T4. I heard that Heichichi would be leaving. Is that true cause I thought he was a good character. Even if you hated him. Hes a classic who should stay. But knowing Namco hes probably going to be resurected in T6 or sumin like that

I wonder what Xiayou's ending is going to be if you beat the game with her. If she saves the Mishima family, none of the events in any of the games actually happen and a very, very large paradox occurs. Jin might not even exist and she wouldn't even know to go... oh, well.

I could imagine that happening in future Tekken games. A series of fighting games shouldnt go on to long as the story would wear thin. Maybe the Tekken series should end with 5. Good number to end by.

Not being Sexiest but most girl characters aint very good in Tekken. There good in Soul Caliber and Rival Schools but I never got into Girl Tekken characters. Make an exeption for Nina and Xiayou's who are good

I used to find Tekken fun once in a while, but I didn't really like it that much. Now I couldn't care less, the only fighters I like are 2-D ones and Soul Calibur 2.
