Has anyone ever read any Greek mythology, or Roman, or Norse?

Yeah a little bit, don't remember much of it though.

Yeah! But it didn't catch my attention... well not as much as Hercules or Xena did.

Yeah... Norse and Greek is pretty cool once you get into it, but it has been awhile since I have read any of it though. I should read it again, but I am too lazy.

The Odyssey was great. Since I'm not a big reader, I never bothered to read any more of it. Fascinating stuff, though.

Who hasn't? Everybody does this a million times in school, right?

Anyways, I really enjoyed Homer's "The Illiad" when I read it. It beats out his "Odyssey" any day.

The Odyssey was awesome. Illiad was ok.

I love Greek mythology. I have read a couple books about it. Narcissist is one of my favorite stories.

Homer and Virgil are easily two of the greatest writers/poets that walked the Earth and it says quite a lot about both that their work has survived throughout the ages and that we, nearly 2000 and 3000 years later still found their work relevant, riveting, and awe-inspiring.

Also the work of Aeschylus and Sophocles are very good.

Take care all.

I conducted a serious study on mythology in general where I would read any book I could find from 5-8th grade. Greek, Roman, Germanic, Norse, Egyptian, American Indian, ect. After that it was more of something to do when I was bored.

I've done a pretty good study of it. ^_^ Greek mythology, that is.

A lot of Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology is cool, but Greek and Roman myth also have an annoying number of stories that basically consist of gods getting mortal women pregnant, which are simply boring.

It's Narcissus, Del. :)

I read a gigantic book on mythology back in fourth grade, so it's safe to say I've always been interested in the material.

Clash of the Titans will always be a personal favorite.

I wish I would have taken the Greek/Roman mythology class that was offered in high school but I never did. =/
I love the story of Eros ( Cupid ) and that one chick his mommy hated. -kicks Aphrodite-
