Hi! I'm Very and I come from Italy..
I'm playing FF7 on pc and I have a problem: the game crashes when they see the shooting star in the bugenhagen's observatory. I've tried all three solutions that eidos gave but they didn't work... Please can you pass the scene for me? This is the savefile (http://d23.yousendit.com/D/2LOGY75S6UYC53PDQGVAAM6QUF/save07.ff7)

Did you try trading it in for another? Or is it the pc thats the problem?

I think the problem is the compatibility with windows xp.. I read about a lot people who have the same problem and I tried all the solutions they suggest, but they don't work.. :mad:

No problem at all. It's sent now. I got you through the FMV and the scene that takes place in the planetarium, then went back and saved immeadiately. I hope that's all you needed.

It is on its way. Since you hadn't saved after choosing your team, I had to choose it myself. I brought Tifa and Aeris. Don't worry, you'll be able to change it before you go to the Cave of the GI (though you'll have to take Nanaki [Red XIII]). I also snatched the Elixir from the sofa in the Cosmo Canyon Inn for you. If you have a problem with either of these things, just let me know and I'll fix it.

Ok, hulkster, I got you past that point. I also viewed both of the Turtle's Paradise Newsletters in Cosmo Canyon and picked up the hidden Elixir on the couch in the inn. Enjoy.

Guess who finally got around to getting their FFVII working again? That's right, I am now able to help people get past this glitchy point in the game again. Please load up your files as .zip files, as I can't use the .rar format that so many of you have put up. Other than that, I'll be glad to get anyone past this point. Sorry it took so long to get going again.

you go sky balde! you really are doin us a great service! btw my game just freezes when im tryin to play the chocobo race for the fist time in corel prison....my ff7 is a cracked version though so it might just be the game...

Try downloading this (http://www.qhimm.com/ff7_chocobo_patch.zip) patch. It should clear up that nasty chocobo race problem. If not, then your game just hates you.

When you create your post, check above the text box where you type in you post. Look on the first line of symbols for one that looks like a paperclip. Click that symbol. A new window should open. Click the browse button beside one of the text boxes under "Upload File from your Computer" and then just find wherever you put your zipped save file. Once you have selected it, just press the Upload button, and finish and submit your post.

WOW the cosmo canyon part seems to crash a lot on PC:eek: but its funny i have the game on ps1 and years ago my game always used to crash on the shooting star part as well but one day it just stopped crashing;) Thank goodness:D
