Cats or dogs?

Which do you like the most, cats or dogs?
Cats for me. I like that they're independent, even though they're a bit too selfish sometimes. Also, they're generally much cuter than most dogs I've seen.

I like cats for there independance but I have a thing against animals I see as clever. If you want a companion for you and/or your family to love Id recommend dogs.

I think Dogs helpless are more loveable, particularly as puppies. Have you ever seen two kittens grow up together? They practice there instincts by fighting each other. My friend, His family and I were watching the matrix but we all ended up staring at the kittens battle it out.

I wish this one cat 'Diva' was ours, cuz she doesn't try and kill you. She lets you hug her as much as you want without a complaint! :cat:

Definitely Cats. They're far more intelligent and independent than Dogs, and they don't make your house smell like crap. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's walking into the house of someone who owns Dogs. The smell is just unbearable.

It is if the owners don't regularly bathe and potty train their dogs.

Cats are too fickle for me, wheras with dogs you pretty much know where you stand with them. (If you stand against them you're in trouble, but at least you know what to expect.) Also, when was the last time a cat stood up and fought for you? When was the last time a healthy dog coughed up a furball? Neither animal is perfect, of course, but look at the good and bad qualities of each and make your choice.

(There are exceptions. Some dogs are mean and deserve to be put down--raised badly and spoiled--and some cats are definately nice to be around. I'm saying that in general I prefer dogs, but there are exceptions to prove the rule.)

Cats definately. I have four. So cute and cuddly, and independant, so they aren't always begging for your attention, they don't smell much, and all of the other reasons people have mentioned. I just love cats.

I had a very large and furry Chow Chow dog and it didn't smell. The draw back was that it left around large clumps of fur (the cat did too though.) He looked like the picture below. He had a blue tongue. :D

Keno was a very happy dog, like most dogs, so that's why I like dogs better. My cat was very grumpy though. He name was Bubba and he always scowled at everyone and he never went to the bathroom in his litter box. Bubba was a Blue Persian and looked a lot like the picture below.

I've never had a happy cat and all my relative's cats were always hiding and stuff, so I never really liked cats all that much.
