So, the magic system has never been the same in FF's. In 1-3,5,11 you bought spells, in 4 you learned them as you leveled, in 6 espers, 7 materia, 8 drawing, 9 weapons, 10 sphere grid...

Is there any news on what XII's magic learning system will be like? And how it will be used in battle?

Anyways, I don't think there's an official word on how the learning of magic comes about, as of yet.

Like Ichimonji said, we don't know yet, as far as I know anyways.

I'm just interested in their new way of dividing spells. If I'm not mistaken I saw some of that there green magic on the footage with all the battles. It looked to be the enfeebling magic, like poison. I wonder if they'll have any other new divisions of magic.
