I was just lookin around the FF6 forum archives and found a thread that really shouldn't be forgotten. i90east created a much harder version of FF6 cos he thought that it was too easy as it was.

i90east offers an IPS patcher called SNEStool on the download page, but if you're on a Mac, use IPS Patcher (http://www.csua.berkeley.edu/~cwright/ips/) to patch your ROM.
