Ok, now don't laugh but I actually kinda have watched Star Trek in the past. Now I'm not as much of a fan as I used to be but I enjoyed it a lot in my younger years and still do. Now don't be ashamed, were all nerds here, tell us the truth.

I liked ST:TNG the most. Much more than Star Wars.

Too bad they're cancelling Enterprise after this year. I mean TNG had like, 10 seasons, DP9 had like, 7, Voyager had like 6, Enterprise will have 4.

So I'm guessing if they ever do a new ST series, it'll last for 2 years.

TNG TNG TNG yay!

I like Star Trek. I'm Riker! And you can't stop me!

I don't really like anything after DS9, though. It bores me.

Star Trek: TNG is perhaps my favorite non comedy TV show for reasons that go beyond science and imagination.

To me, the show represents the ideals to which I often believe, where people of all cultures and races work together to solve the problems that come before them. Where violence is the last course of action, not the first and diplomacy is valued above all else. Where exploration, both of the world(s) around us and of ourselves is the name of the game. Where we are motivated by the chance to become better people and not by money or by power.

Watching the show gives me hope that perhaps one day, the future may indeed be as idealistic and upbeat as it's shown.

Take care all.

I enjoyed The Next Generation and Voyager during my school years. I used to get home from school, switch on the television and get ready for Star Trek at 5:00pm. I lost interest once I started college, and I rarely watch it these days.

I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a "Trekkie".

There's a group, trying to raise £70 million needed to film a new series of Star Trek.

They currently have £12,000

Good luck to them >_>

I was raised on The Next Generation. Gene Roddenberry was a genius.

Star Trek: The Next Generation is the best television series ever created. I currently own seasons 1-6 on DVD. Season 1 is kind of weak, but the rest are pretty great, especially seasons 3-6.

Here's my list of favorite TNG episodes, in no particular order:

1. Q Who
2. The Measure of a Man
3. Sarek
4. The Best of Both Worlds Part I
5. Data's Day
6. The Nth Degree
7. The Drumhead
8. Darmok
9. Ship in a Bottle
10. Frame of Mind

I completely agree.

As for the other series. The Original Series is just so bad it's hilarious. Deep Space 9 starts off really slow, but starts to get good when the Dominion is introduced. Voyager is pretty bad for the most part. As for Enterprise, I never gave it a chance.
