Yeah, it's a great show, you should definately see the original. The one that they play on Spike TV is an abomination, you can find the original subtitled episodes on the internet.

Watching Takeshi's Castle can be quite painful at times.

Especially during the challenge with the rollers. Ouch.

Terrific stuff, the best thing I find is how all the contestants seem to have taken a pocket-full of happy pills and marched right on the show. The fact it has some kind of strange storyline as well - legendary. General Lee - this bud's for you

I was watching today and they said that they had 57 broken legs in skipping stones! Wow that really is the ultimate shin shreader.

Not seen it in a while. How are Craig Charles' innuendos? Are they as sleazy as I remember? ;)

Oh, and does anyone have a favourite game? Anyone for a game of skipping stones or bridge ball?

Note to Welsh Wonder - I did that yesterday *huggles her boxed set of series I-IV* yayness! :D

I didnt even know anyone had ever actually WON Takeshi's Castle. I mean, I assumed someone must have one it at some point, but its so impossibly hard I guess I didnt really believe it. I mean, most of the time, at the end, theres only about 5-6 ppl left. Versus about 50 ppl. lol :D

Yeah thats the crappy sanitized american version which apparently is almost completely different to panda to american views who claim everything is theirs......sorry no offence. Same random jappanese pain tho.
