View Full Version : Looking for WarMech in DoS

I need help findind 'Warmech' (Death machine, whatever) in DoS. I have played the whole thing four times but I cant get to fight the thing! It should be on the bridge right before Tiamat, but I never appears. Kupo help me!

well you just have to keep fighting on the bridge until you run into him. I was lucky enough to fight him my first battle on the bridge, but I didn't get the genji armor so i'm trying to find again and have not been lucky enough to run into him a second time... it's all random, hence random encounters...

Just keep marching up and down the bridge until you find him. It can take a VERY long time.

bleh. I've already waled up and down the bridge for an hour and haven't found him. Darnit! I also can't find the T-Rex. Which desert is he in?

the t-rex is in the desert area around the tower of mirage im pretty sure

I found an lots of allesaurui there. They're like TRex, but I already have them in my log. I might just search for them in the NG+, and just go on with filling my SoC log.

Trust me, they're there. I've found 'em both. It just takes a long time to get 'em.

Thanx kupo lots for that, its just what I though. Too bad it really takes a kupopipoop poop poop of time. I suck cause this last time Im playing RMage solo and by thye time I get there Im already fully leveled and rich, so it sucks to waste so much time just doing that. I might revive one of my dead guys and get him to level up to, just for the kopoop of it. After I might actually find the dang thing, can I make it respawn or its a one time only thing?

I gave up on finding WarMech eventually. I must have spent about 15 minutes looking to no avail, and in the end I just went to Tiamat to get it over and done with.

I got him once, haven't been able to find him since. I think he's like the Fiends, where once you kill him, he's gone forever.

Death Machine is just a regular enemy, it just takes a lot of luck to find it. It has a very low encounter rate, and because the enemy encounters in this game are random, you can completely luck out and find it your first try, or log weeks worth of game time in that hallway alone without ever running into it.

I gave up on finding WarMech eventually. I must have spent about 15 minutes looking to no avail, and in the end I just went to Tiamat to get it over and done with.
i spent 2 hours lookin for him arrgh i wasted good battery power :shoot:

Well in the original FFI, not DoS, the enemy encounter rate was not so random. In fact, there were a series of set encounters that changed each time you did something, and I'm forgetting what that is at the moment...
