Japanese CD?

I am planning on ordering Koda Kumi's Gorw Into One Album, but was wondering if it would still work on an American CD Player. I would understand if a European CD didn't work because of the PAL design, but Japan is a NTSC Designation. Help! :D

Pal and ntsc are for TV-video formats only.
Any CD can be played on any CD player, unless it's an old CD player and it's a CD-R or something.
