Itunes and Ipod

Hello I'm having some problems it appears that I can no longer update my ipod any longer and I have absoloutely no clue why that is. If anyonme has any ideas of how to fix this please tell me.

I am not sure if I should erase all of my songs and reset everything or not. Your advice would be appreciated.

maybe the memory is just full but i don't have an ipod so not much else i can say :D bye

If you can't update it, make sure to download the latest software update off Apple's website.

Install the iPod Updater first, then plug in the iPod. Restore factory settings, and then install the new software updater. That should help.

You can do a soft-reset by holding down the Menu and Play/Pause Button for 10s. If you have a 4G iPod, hold down the middle button(on the wheel), play/pause, and menu button for 10s to reset it.
