FFT:Advance...? Yep, I thought it was crazy, and I don't pay attention to rumors.

I'm thinking maybe the FFT Triilogy on PS3 that will come out in the year 2007 is a nice way to celebrate FFT 10th aniversary. I'm sure Square-Enix will make a lot more Dollars,Yens, Pounds, and Euros than the combination of FFX2 and (imo) rip-off sequel of FF7 all together. :cool:

Are you insane? No one's going to pay money for a hard game with sprites.
Hell I got mine at Future Shop for $5 because it got marked down so many times. :O

One of my friends who was new to the Final Fantasy games at the time thought that FF9 was going to be a FFT sequal :p

The only one I've heard is the over done FFXII = FFT sequel. The only comparison is the use of the "country" Ivalice.

It has been suggested quite frequently that FFXII is the 'Final Fantasy' the characters in FFTA had been playing and which provided the framework for their adventure. That's more of a theory than a rumor, though. I can't really say I've heard any "wild sequel rumors" about the original FFT.

It probably wouldn't be, or else maybe Marche wouldn't have been as surprised to learn that Ivalice was a country. If it was indeed the FF game they talked about, then their first day playing would have probably been "Hey, look, it's a country named after our town" or somethign like that.
