Eyes On Final Fantasy RPG

Most likely to the dismay of Harvest Moon (who came up with an RPG thread before me) , I came up with the idea to make an RPG based on the forums here on EoFF, for maybe a humorous RPG kind of thing. I figure I already have the music. :p , and most likely everything I need besides characters and the like. (considering it's based on the forums. :rolleyes2 )
So just post If you want to join in on the fun as a main character, support, boss, enemy, whatever... just post whatever details you think are important.

Make me a reccuring obnoxious boss a-la Ultros, and give me special insult attacks that pummel the player's stats into oblivion, but don't make me very strong.

I want to be a very pointless boss that shows up out of nowhere. No introductory dialogue, just me popping up. Have it so that you can kill me with a Phoenix Down and no dialogue afterwards either. The party just continues its business like nothing happened. Much like Abadon from FFVIII.

Heres just some of the basic ideas I have already-
Story: Something is not right inside of the EoFF forums. By some form of manipulation, Cid, the once proud creator of the site, has been overthrown by the evil Strawberryman! You, a newbie to the site, realize that this cannot go on any longer. Armed with your sword skills, you are warped into the apocalypse by some form of odd magic... You must defeat the oppresive ruler Strawberryman, and restore peace to the forums once again.
Hehe. I'm the evil dude. ^_^ or so it seems...

Characters:
Newbie- The beginning dude.
Silverwind- The second character you get, found inside of the FF1 forums.
Strawberryman- The evil blight that manipulated himself to the top. Has control over all aspects of the forums. Almost.

Possible Status Effects?
Lag- Slows down your character
Disconnect- Same as K.O.
Ban- Totally stopped. Recovery?
Virus- Suffer connection damage

pretty much all I got. Now it actually sounds kinda like FF. Figured it would happen though. :(

Edit- Flamethrower is of course accepted. :D

No problem. I'm drawing a blank on what a Martyr is at the moment. My brain just does not work when i'm tired. :cat:

A Martyr is somebody who dies or makes some severe sacrifice for a cause.

Commonly used in terms of dying for religious causes.

But, the term can apply for anything.
In this RPG, I hope to die for something rather grand.
(Like maintaining the main hero's life, or making the quest possible instead of the bad guys instantly winning, or, maybe, being the main hero's father- so when he watches as the machine guns pump into my reddening, flopping, violently murdered carcass, he'll have the will to fight!)

Note: Plus, whether I die in a humorously humiliating or grave and saddening manner will be able to determine the overall direction of the tale.

But don't make me cheesy. Please! Anything but cheesy! Funny, stupid, even mentally challenged. But don't make me some cheesy, flimsy, overly-caring, wishy-washy do-too-much-gooder.

I'm only so far done with the beginning and World maps. I kind of improvised on Eyeson's regions and whatnot, considering I (in the story)
corrupted the lands anyway.
I'm thinking that it would be a good idea If I waited for a good sum of people to come before I start working totally on the story.
Still don't have any people that offer to be the random NPC's that just walk around the town, moping around while I chew away at the world.

I got dibs on being an evil shapeshifter/illusionist/alchemist boss. Y'know, crappy offence, poor defence, but damned near impossible to actually hit.

Supposedly dies, but really turns himself into a louse and rides around in the garments the most attractive female character (because no one ever actually changes clothes in a FF game). Secretly relays all the stuff back I find out to the boss.

And, if I get the chance, making fake sidequests that hook the characters up with really cool weapons that are, in fact, cursed and end up healing the bosses they fight. Oh, yeah, and I can telepathically send anything I see to any of the computers of other baddies. Tactically useful at times, but mostly just a collection of voyeuristic pornography.

After I ride around for a while, I fall for some secondary female character and it gets all weird and complicated ;)

As for The Captain, who can't decide what he wants to be, why not make him the guy who operates all the cool machines and stuff? He is the "Captain" after all. Always comes up with useful advice that continues the plot every other quest, because the main characters are too stupid to figure it out for themselves.

I like the idea of captain being a head engineer. i think he'll be the airship pilot for the "resistance".

(not to kill remember just a rival) He could be looking for me because he is looking for an artifact I have stolen from one of his bosses... (mercenaries have more than one boss you know) It would be cool if you get to fight him 4 times and everytime you fight him/ meet him it's a sidequest. 3 times you fight him as me alone and once in a party that must have me in it.

I want my role to be a total cop out of laxine from KH chain of memories. I want to be in line with the bad guy from relatively early on up towards around the end when I get killed off by the heros. I want to reveal a part of information for the main bad guy, be his messenger and test the heros strength for him. Something along those lines. personality; call me corny but cold and trusting of no one though loyal to my "master" (i refuse to be an egor, I want to be witty and speak to the one I take orders from as an equal) I want to have a manipulative personality but dont want it to effect the story. Hope theres no problems with that. Tell me if there is.

Depending on your answer, I will either fight you using a frying pan of love, (really easy fight. Give me like 10 HP and you earn like 2 GP and 5 XP) or give you a clue to a side quest (of your choice). After you complete the side quest though, you'll only hear me rambling about the good old days.

Also, make some of the other townspeople claim I totally lost it, that I bring a great disturbance to the force, etc. :cool:

I'd like to be a non- playing character whom the party meets many times here and there, in the weirdest and most improbable places (like on the bottom of a dungeon that was supposed to have been sealed for thousands of years before the party came and that was damn hard to go through). Something in between a rogue and a sorceress. At a certain point she woud be revealed as being an old love-sister-schoolmate to one of the heroes who was believed to be deceased (like if you could revive Daryl, kinda) and who had to preted she had died not to reveal she had enrolled in the most dangerous magic school ever. (if there is a main wizard villain, I could be his pupil.)
She initally fights side by side with the wizard but finally understand her mistake and joins the party as a powerful mage with the same spell abilities as the deceased boss. (or, if there already are too many people in the party, keeps on showing up every here and there to give hints or help, always in improbable places).
May I be like that? I can even give a graphic if needed! (this is just a sample)

It's only up to him if I'll be playable or not. Of course I'd like to be if there's a place for me in the party but I would start out as being a NPC anyways.
I'd also like to have a silly weapon (somehow like Eric Ramza's spoon...:P). Let me think of something that might suit my personality.
A whip might be the right thing if I cannot find anything sillier. I'd babble things about female characters usually having those skimpy costumes and like to tease my male party companions.
