i always like using Climhazzard i dont have Omnislash yet i cant find any free time yet and i refuse to use a gameshark but if i'm offered one then fair enough as i havent got any PS1 action replay or Xploder discs

Not so. If you manage to get Vincent's Strength to 255 then Hellmasker's Splattercombo can inflict 49,995 damage. Chaos' limits stop at 9,999 to all and instant death.

Aerith's best - Great Gospel. Fully revives, cures and heals party and makes them invincible.
Barret's best - Ungarmax. Max damage approx. 199,980
Cait Sith's best - Slots (3 Cait Siths). Instant victory. Very nice.
Cid's best - Highwind. Mas damage approx. 199,980
Cloud's best - Omnislash. Max damage 149,985
Red XIII's best - Stardust Ray. Max damage 59,994
Tifa's best - Final Heaven. Max damage 69,993 (cumulative)
Vincent's best - Hellmasker. Max damage 49,995
Yuffie's best - Doom of the Living. Max damage 149,985

My personal favourite - Great Gospel. If only you were given an oppurtunity to utilise it to the full effect, eg. against the weapons or Safer Sephiroth.

While I'm here I wondered if anyone could confirm the number of hits for Barret's Ungarmax and Catastrophe, and Cid's Dragon Dive, Big Brawl and Highwind. PM me or post them here. Thanks.

I know this ver well. And they are very usfull since you also get your HP completely restored. But that you're unable to cotroll Vincent in his limmitbreak makes them pretty risky at times. It's better with an instant-hit limmit break beacuse of this. But they are still awesome since Vincent gets a nice status boost as well when using them.

But you don't need any limmitbreaks if you've got a mastered Comet Materia, Quadra Magic, W-Magic and 255mag. :cool:

I unno if this is the right thread but I have Tifa's Final heaven and everytime I try to make her learn it she doesn't want to. Can anyone tell me why?

BTW, Great Gospel is my favorite defensive Limit and Omnislash is my favorite offensive Limit.

Other than that, other characters had a few cool looking ones, even if they weren't that powerful. Cid, Red XIII, and Yuffie had some interesting ones.

Great Gospel is way beyond the coolest limit break ever!! I mean, what else can heal everyone completely and provide inviciblility?? I taught that to her as early as I could and I have never had any trouble with bosses. I really miss it.... :(

That's why I prefer the really outlandish ones. If someone claimed they had gotten Cherry Blossom in FFVII, at least the lie would have some tangential evidence to support it. When people don't even try to pretend it's real, it becomes much more amusing. My favorite? Hyper Cut. Just because it's clear that NO effort was put into the name.

Actually, though, my favorite Limit in Tactics is Finish Touch.

but even though i cant be arsed to get omnislash its fun to use final battle against sephiroth himself = easiest boss ever

Meteorain was a short and rubbish limit break

grenade bomb was fun to use

I personally think Omnislash is WAY too overrated, I just hink everyone likes it because it's Clouds final Limit, so you HAVE to like it, right? wrong! I dont think its all that hot, but i prefer Highwind, cause there si about 1.5 as many hits as Omnislash, thus, more damage...

yeah cloud gets secrets up to level 7

have all chars and all ultimate weapons to get secrets limit breaks
+ every one including Aeris with level 4 limits after you beat ultimate weapon and hojo you unlock level 5 whilst 6 is easy to get by using every other limit break 8 times 7 is a pain but im not gonna spoil level 7 for ya

I hope you don't really believe those guys.... but my favorite is also Highwind, just cause it's awesome to see the airship and it does more than just fly you around everywhere, and probably also because Cid is my favorite character

Nova slash is like omnislash but does 2 twice the slashes and the finisher is where he richchets off and his sword turns red which he plunges into the target delivering around triple omnislash damage but because its level 7 it takes a millenium to charge up

Personally, I just like to take Cloud, Tifa, and Cid to the final battle against Sephiroth and unload my multihitters.
Omni-Slash, Highwind, Doom of the Living, Ungarmax, Stardust Ray, and Tifa's long-ass combo with all YEAH!!s.
I also like the Knights of the Round summon because it's a multihitter.

DAMN!!! thats not fair!!! my first file i ever made is my ultimate bad-ass one, but i rushed through the beginning so i never got Aeris her Limit level 4, not even her second level 2. I feel humbled, but i think i have everyone beat cause i was level 64 at the end of the FIRST DISC!!! MWA HA HA!!! TOP THAT!!!
Oh, and Cloud, Tifa, and Cid is my favorite party also.

Yeah, I really didn't even want to spoil past level 5...I wanted them to find it themselves.

Cloud at level 99 with Omnislash and Ultima Weapon, Barret at level 99 with Catastrophe and Missing Score, and Cid at level 99 with Highwind and Venus Gospel = best party ever. :D
