what does vigor stand for in the stat menu! it's driving me crazy because i don't know!

Vigor= Attack power.

Vigor only works up to 128. If your vigor is higher than that then there's no point. Check out my posts in Rods, what do they rely on? (http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/shouthread.php?t=57837)

Another misleading thing with Vigor is that it does NOT affect Sabin's Blitz attacks. If you want to pump those up, raise his Magic Attack stat with either of the 2 espers that assist that particular stat.
