I don't know what it is, but I remember seeing something at the bottom of each sub-forum showing who was in there perusing threads or whatever with you. And now it's not there.
Is that something that was disabled permanently or what?
I think it disappeared last time the forums were down a few months back. I don't remember seeing it since then, anyway.

It went wherever the ability to mark individual fora as read did.

No, you can still do that. :p Use the Forum Tools link.

Also, if you want to see where people are browsing if you click the "<a href="http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/online.php?">Currently Active Users</a>" link at the upper-left corner of the index page you can see what each person is doing that's logged in.

I think it disappeared in an upgrade or something, cause tGA lost it too.

Renable it then. It causes an extra query to the database, though.

I thought we disabled it long ago, why should it be back again because you only just happenned to notice it had gone after an upgrade? :p

I noticed that being gone a very long time ago and I vaguely remember something about having either Who's Online or the names at the bottom of the forums. It was to be one or the other, but not both.

Why renable it? It's creepy. Almost like being stalked. *hides in my invisible mode*
