Chat room ops

Back during the elections, I went in the chat room and Ragnarok gave me half ops. Other times I have been given "voicing" by one of various chat ops. Other times, nothing. Is there are rule or anything on how this works, or is it jut at the discretion of the chat ops?

Actually the funniest part was when I made the chatroom moderated to post the election results, then got booted for flooding, then when I came back I wasn't opped and couldn't even speak because I wasn't voiced. That was pretty funny.

Same thing happens to me. You can't really expect the chat room to be organized, though, considering it's just the fora's retarded little brother.

All modes are set and given out solely at the discretion of the people that are automatically opped when they enter the room and the IRC operators that run the network. If you have any more questions, please ask them in the chatroom.

Yeah, it's pretty random. I usually get a + when I go in, and an @ when another op knows I'll go on a rampage as soon as they op me. I'm sure if you asked for whatever you'd get it.

I don't know for sure, but I think Squally Leonharty has the power of your average op in #eoff, too.

Anything else is generally random. Oh, and voices are given to Forums Staff and Site Staff, and sometimes other people, because Roogles should be accompanied at all times!

Squally's a global op, yes, as is shuten (dunno if he still goes by the name shuten, can't remember) :p I believe Spat still has aop too, not that he ever joins recently :p

I think Spatty and Matt were taken off the a-op list since they don't go to #eoff anymore, not sure. I know people such as Princess Usa were, though. :p Seems we'd left some people on there for quite some time!
