Do you wear corrective lenses of any kind?

I wear conact lenses, which is somewhat annoying due to the dry climate where I live, but I like them more than my glasses, so... :)

I got glasses in third grade, I seem to believe. Somewhere around there. Before freshman year of high school, I switched to contacts, which is what I have now.

Nope. I don't have to. I have a friend who does though. She's near-sighted (or was it far-sighted? Well, she can't see things far away) so she needs glasses. Do you by any chance have blue eyes? I've noticed that quite a few of the people who need glasses, at least the people that I know, have blue eyes.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do. Also, I've heard that having blues eyes makes your eyes more susceptable to being damaged by sunlight. Thsi is one of the reasons I like to wear sun glasses (also because they make me look hot snazzy.)

P.S: Yes, near-sighted means you can't see things far away.

been wearing glasses since i was 10 so about 10 years of my life being short sighted! whoooot! :D i'm as blind as a coot! :p
i have to have my lens thinned else they'd cut into my nose! hurray! an extra £60 down the tube....
the pair of glasses i have now cost me £255.....so much money.
i wish i had perfect eyes! then i could be an eagle! :p
i look weird without my glasses though! i've gotten used to them!

I thought I might have needed some for a while, but then realised that running the monitor refresh rate at 60Hz was the problemo. Conclusion: My vision holds out. Just.

And yes I do ^_^ Glasses and when I'm out or dressing up, usually contacts!

I want to get colored contacts whenever I'm not lazy ^_^

I've had glasses for 8 or so years now. I don't mind them.

I wear contacts, which are irritating occasionally.

Nope, my vision is fine, which is amazing, taking into consideration on how much time I've spent on the computer and watching T.V. over the years.

I have prescription glasses and sunglasses. I could never wear contacts.

Ditto, except for sunglasses. My glasses do turn dark during the day outside though. 8-)

I have prescription glasses. They have transition lenses so I don't need sunglasses. Contact lenses would be nice, but it hardly makes a difference to me. I hardly notice my glasses anway.

Nope, I got great vision in fact. Last time I had a check-up, (a year ago) They said it was better then 20/20, I could read the ickle line at the very bottom. *preens*

My hearings pretty crappy though, like my Dads :(

Yeah, I do. It's weird, my left eye is fine, but my right eye is close to blind.

I've got very bad short-sightedness, or myopia. In addition, I have mild astigmatism in my left eye.

I've worn glasses since the age of five, and I've also had contacts since the mid 1990s. I haven't got new glasses since before then, so my glasses don't really match my eyes too well any more. I wear contacts for basically everything; I only wear glasses when I'm just about to go to bed, or after I've just got up.

My eyes haven't got any worse for years, now, so I'm hoping they've stopped deteriorating. I've a long history of eyesight problems in my family; I'd hate to end up going blind.

My eyes are terrible. I wear contacts normally, but recently, I've been too lazy for that and have reverted to my glasses.

I have very low perscription glasses that I wear while in class. Makes it a lot easier to copy notes off overheads and white boards.

I just wear glasses when using the computer or watching TV. I could never stick anything in my eyes >_<

I made it 16 to 15...^^

Yeah I need glasses, cause my left eye is nearsighted, but my right eye is just fine, so when I got contacts (which I hated by the way... )I only needed one... :D
