Okay...I know this board loathes country music, and in some ways so do I, but I really like ST though. I have Shania Twain's Come On Over CD and I'm going to get her international version in the mail.

She's the only country music singer I can stand, but maybe because she kind of has that pop-star voice and look to her...but eh.

I know not many of you feel the same way, but for those who do...speak up!

I am a country music fan and I do not like Shania Twain. I don't know why, I just don't.

Shania Twain has a real good voice and some of her songs are catchy and nice. I'm not a big fan, but I like her.

Like, before I even realized You're Still The One is considered one of the best songs of all time, and when I listened to it for the first time...I just fell in love with the song. It's still a great song. The lyrics for the song are really great...especially the part "Looks like me made it..."

I don't like any other country singer like Alan Jackson or Gretchen Wilson. I guess Alan Jackson is more like pure country, while Shania Twain is a mix of some pop and a bit of rock.

I like Country, and I dig Shania Twain. Not BIG time though.

I have the american release of her Up! cd. It's a good cd, but a bit annoying that they are the same songs on both cds, but I know that's the point, it's just slightly annoying. I like her though... well... actually most of the female singers (in counntry music like Faith Hill and The Dixie Chicks) because they for the most part don't have that southern twang in their voices that the men have. It's slightly annoying to me.

What makes Shania Twain so great is her amazing capability, not her average vocal abilities.
I've studied vocal octaves... and Shania has a fairly poor 2 octave range.
