FF Game Case Covers

I was just looking at my friends NTSC version of Final Fantasy IX's case and i told him it looked suck with the green and stuff. Well he got angry and i punched him in the face to shutup. Newayz, which version of the case covers do you like? I think the PAL and jap ones look best because the white makes it look so clean to me, instead of being cluttered.

Yeah, I like the Japanese ones that are just the logo with a big empty white background. It's classy.

I like the european and japanese cover. Te europeans an all white background like japans except japan often leave out the playstation sign from what Ive seen anyway.

I like the pal one they do look classy and with all of them games lined up they look like classic and individual from other games.

I agree with Rubah, There needs to be some titilating eye candy. Howeverm, we americans DO realize thats its whats inside the cover that counts. And on the Disc/Cartridge. Gameplay supercedes game covers. Especially with FF.

What the Japanese cover says
"Hey, this is Final Fantasy X, baby."

What the American cover says
"Hey this is Final Fantasy X and it has this guy with a water sword he's cool oh man look at those awesome graphics oh god!"

The european and japanese cover is more eye catching.

I prefer American covers, probably because i am American :)

They all have some sort of scene or picture on it that really makes you want to play the game to get to that one scene or to meet those cool charcters. For example, the American ff anthology cover shows Terra riding a beautifully illustrated magi-tec armor in a rich industrial backround which really gets me interseted in the game.

Although the Japanese and PAL versions are very crisp and clean, they just don't seem to make me stop in the store to look at them and make me wish I was playing them. Probably some of the main reasons I bought the ffs were becasue of the awesome covers (like ff10)

The euro/jap covers have more "styleeee" like what that toilet paper ad says on ... sorry i should'nt have added that. :p

The Japanese covers seem rather lazy. I like the picture myself, and the logo just by the name.

Japanese. I dont care if it took 30 seconds to make coz it looks good and thats all that really matters. The american covers are ok but the japanese ones are better

The PAL and Japanese covers stand out more. When looking for an FF game, standing amongst a plethora of brightly coloured covers for platformer games like Ratchet and Clank, I know all I have to do is look for the all-white cover.

Japanese/Euro. And it's really just about the same amount of effort to photoshop a logo onto an existing picture (have any of the covers had art specifically made for them?) as it is to photoshop it onto white.

The PAL covers are just like the Japanese NTSC covers except they have more icons crowding them up.
