Router Problem

I have just buoght a broadband router, but i don't know which of the three conection types i have - and therefore cannot follow the setup instructions included. The three types are PPPoE (DSL dynamic mode), DHCP (CATC dynamic mode), and Static configuration. I have NTL cable broadband plugged into my computer with an ethernet lead and it setup as a LAN connection....can any one tell me which one i have, or tell me how to fid out which one i have. Also how do i find out my DNS servers?
