Final Fantasy VI ROM glitch

i've dloaded many versions of the ROM and i cant play it everytime it gets past the scene were biigs wedge and some blonde girl are on the way to some lighted coty after it goes black it goes back to the title screen

i'm using the ZSNES SNES emulator because its the only one i could find

so any suggestions?

after that sequence it goes back to the main screen and the whole opening starts all over again

Isn't that the opening sequence? I'm sure pressing whatever key you have tuned to "A" will get you going. Otherwise, I've never heard of this glitch. What OS are you using, and what version of ZSNES?

dunno i got the ZSNES from angelroms

ok after the sequence with that it just repeats itself over and over not advancing past 6he scene where you see the 3 metal suits traveling through the snow

You can download the latest version of ZSNES, (1.42) from here. (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/zsnes/zsnesw142.zip) FFVI should work fine on previous version's though. I ran it with no problems on v1.36.

its the NTSC version and it just resets to the start as soon as the trio go to that city where the esper is
