This thread is for cool people who can't really afford the magical 4 figure playlist.

I have 927 songs, all of them legal (I doubt many of you can say that, nor would you care).

Are you part of this cool < 1000 club?

It looks cool, how do I become a member?

Lamest club ever.
I have ~1200 songs, and they're all legal, by Canadian standards. Almost all free, too.

Just delete some songs if you have over 1000, even if they're good songs. Then when you hit 999 or lower, you'll be in this hip-club with me.

Why would I want to delete over 10,000 songs? :D

That way you can be cool, because we all know that people who have over 1000 songs suck. :)

No, people who have less than 1000 songs have a very narrow taste in music.

I have 1608 songs on my iTunes playlist, a little over half of which made in onto my iPod. So I'm kind of in and out.

Oh, and I assuem that the option should read: >1000, a little bit illegal

I've got 880 songs on my computer right now, probably 2/3 of it legal (although three Final Fantasy soundtracks takes up quite a bit of that). Still, I'm constantly adding new stuff to it, and haven't been building the collection for an extremely long amount of time.

You have to remember how much CDs cost. I have tuition, car, insurance, grocery, gas, etc. bills to pay. I even get my CDs cheap off Amazon.com and Half.com.

So pardon me for not being spoiled.

That's why you don't base your self-worth by the fact you pay to download music, like a sucker. Instead you could download all the songs you want for free and then buy the CDs that have songs you really like.
Slowing down on buying the iPods could really help out your funds, too.

You're going to be #1 in this club for sure.

I don't know how many songs I have on my computer, but it's over 1000 and most of it is illegal.
If I converted all my CDs to mp3 format it would proabably be different though.

I have 444 songs on my current playlist (with one duplicate I'm too lazy to delete), and roughly 250 songs floating around my computers not on it.

And,
they're all legal, by Canadian standards.

Also, I've got at least a dozen cds that I haven't put on my computer.
