Since I grew up on Final Fantasy 9, it is my favorite game of all time. I just love RPG's. It was the Christmas after my ninth birthday. My mom got me the game and I loved it too death. You know right when you get a new game, the feeling you get after you beat one of the final fantasies. I remember that feeling soo well. I would give anything to feel like that again with another Final Fantasy game, like 9. If Final Fantasy came to be real, and there was a bad guy trying to rid the planet of all existance, wouldn't any of you fight to save Earth?

I would fight to save the earth, only if I was guaranteed that I would be one of the final party members at the end of the journey, and that I could Equip heavy armor and jump really high, equip spears, and look like Kain. Oh, and I want to be buff and cool looking. Also, there needs to be revival spells and phoenix downs, because I don't want to die forever early on in my quest.

That it? I don't think you should be conservative if you're trying to save the world.

I'd need to look like a male japanese pop star, without my sexuality being questioned by townsfolk, If I have that I could save the entire universe if I had to.(You all know what I'm talking about)And a rifle equipped with a bayonet, just in case things get too close to me.

I thought this was a political joke, with 'conservative' and 'save the world', but I couldn't make any logical sense of it in that context. Then I realized it wasn't. Unless it is, then I'm confused.

But in any case, without those abilities, there's no way I'm saving the world.

Me saving the world in my current state would ammount to me being slaughtered. If I had to fight monsters I'd be totally screwed, because I can't even fight people :( . My special ability would be girly slap, or maybe hide. Hopefully hide, since that's more useful.

I meant you shouldn't hold back on what you need.

And girly smack, really? i have some experience with martial arts so, I'd be ok, until I met something like, oh...I don't know a Behemoth...
(does a side kick to a Behemoth, has no effect other than pissing it off, Behemoth quickly crushes young martial artist)...man, I don't want to envision that again...

I'm sorry about the debate. I just wanted to know what all of you thought. If I was tyo save the world. I would need some allies to help me from giving up on myself, a really sharp sword (doesn't matter how big, just if it can cut through anything), and some armor, plus the hero gets the girl. awwww yea boy!

Actually, if I was to REALLY save the world, I'd get some nuclear missiles, and a bunch of bombs, rocket launchers, etc. Our modern technology is probably more effective than most if not all magic in a FF, so why not?

I'd do what I could, which wouldn't be much. I'm not a fighter.

And we have our new Edward! But yes, I would do everything in my power to save the world, as long as I had a nice sword. I'm not an incredible fighter, but I have 5 years of taikwondoe (I'm almost positive thats spelled incorrectly) and some training with a sword to back me up.

I have a Hero's complex. I blame television. And movies. And video games. And books.

Dying while trying to save the world is definitely the way I'd want to go.

I'd do it, provided I have access to Holy Wars and a W-Item glitch. :p

I have that too, but I'd rather go with the 'someone close to me dies, causing me to descend into vengeful madness and attempt to prevent anyone from ever being happy again, since if I can't have it, no one should' approach.

Yeah, that works too. But I think that qualifies you as a villain rather than a hero.

Del Murder vs. Miriel

I could so take you.

I could go either way, really. Whichever side needs more help.

In the fight against the powers that be trying to destroy the planet I'd be exactly who I am right now, a subversive snot out pushing my own agenda. Would I take up sword? Dunno, but I'd definitely be selling t-shirts.
