Anyone know where Cait Sith is and why he isnt in any of the trailers or screen shots. I know he is still alive, hes in a screenshot for DoC, they better explain why he isnt in the movie.

If i remember correctly from the game! [It has been a while since i played it] Cait Sith was a electronic type animal, some one from Shinra(i think, i can't remember his name, was it Rude? Correct me if i am wrong)! So Rude, or whoever, was controlling Cait Sith! So unless Rude, or whoever, starts to control Cait Sith again, then you will see him/her! But if he doesn't, then no, you won't see Cait Sith! :eek:

P.S. If this is all wrong, please correct me! If it is just the name wrong, still please correct me! I can't remeber that well because i finished the game a long time ago! :D

Reeve, and yes Cait Sith was a remote-control puppet. I dont see any reason why Reeve would need to use this puppet for the events of Advent Children, and his role in DoC is vague at present (I dont see a particular reason to have him in that, either).

They probably left him out because the suck factor of the movie would greatly increase if he was put in. They might put Reeve in, however.

Cait Sith for Final Fantasy fans is like Jar Jar Binks for Star Wars fans. :p In other words, Square doesn't want to add a character that many fans would hate in the movie. I thought Cait Sith was an alright character and certainly not as annoying as Jar Jar Binks or even some other FF characters.

I liked Cait Sith . . . the cat. What I hated was that mog. If they wanted to include mogs somehow, they could've found a better way. I'm sure they could've come up with some better way for the tiny cat to contribute to the group. He didn't even have to be a playable character. He could've just "been there." In my opinion, I'd've been less annoyed by CS if he weren't actually "on my team."
It wouldn't help to just leave him out either because he's STILL there. If I met him at the GS and never had to deal with him/even know he was hanging around, I'd've even accepted his arrival to assist Barret in battle. As long as that would've been the last time.
Seriously though, the cat alone would've been a better character. I adored the little cat, I hated the big awkward mog.

I had to look at that thing for a long time before I saw anything resembling Cait Sith... But I'm actually kind happy he's in it (if he truly, trulu is) because I kinda wanna see what he would look like in cg, that's gotta be pretty funny... He probably won't play a big part, it's not a long movie really, so Caith Sith haters, no worries!

looks like thier keeping the cat part of Cait Sith and getting rid of the puppet Mog that Reeves Controlled. Also looks like Cait Sith is gonna ride Red XIII for nearly the entire time hes on screen.

Works for me. I wouldn't have minded if he was on the puppet Mog, i Liked Cait Sith he was in my top 5ish Fav chars in the game.

I am glad he makes some kind of apearance though... leaving out a playable char would kinda make the movie seem like its missing somthing.

I find the concept of them putting in Yuffie and Vincent, characters that you didn't even ever need to know the exsistence of in there, than someone who contributed to main events in the storyline and you had to have pretty dumb personally.

But if Reeve is mention and the puppet toy thing just isn't around I'll be cool with it....just as long as he's in there in some form.

yah i guess they figured even if you didnt get Yuffie and vincent your first 5 times through the game you should have the next 30... i mean you had like 8 years from FF7's realease untill now to get yuffie and Vincent...

anyone who knows about Advent Children probably knows who vincent and yuffie are...

you actually needed yuffie to get somewhere in the game but you didnt really need vincent
