I built this in march of 2001...and I'm still using it. (with some upgrades)

GeForce 3 ti500 64MB
Sony 4x4x24x24x32 DVD±RW

Samsung 17" LCD @ 12ms response.
HP printer (new) and scanner (semi new)
Logitech 5.1 surround @ about 70 watts 1KHz RMS (not very good, but certainly sufficient for now)

I'm looking at possibly building a dual Opteron/Xeon machine this summer. :D:D

and some other stuff. a lot of it's old (my scanner's the oldest bit, I had it with my old computer. the printer, keyboard, monitor, dvd drive, and the computer bits all came together. The cd drive, mouse, and tablet have been added afterwards:))

My comp, was recently finished, i had to pull some parts off a nasa super computer, and sacrifice the blood of a virgin, but now all the new tech is compatable.

AMD FX-55 CPU
Asus SLI Deluxe Mainboard
2xGeforce 6600GTs
1 gig ram

I haven't bothered checking the brands for all the components.

And yes, my laptop pwns my stationary, which is now reduced to a file server. I've just hooked the old monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers to my laptop :P, and I stream all my media over the network.
