Change it back to World Events. having two "eyes on..." threads makes things become redundant, plus it removes the novelty from "Eyes on Each Other" I remember when I first joined and saw EoEO, I thought, wow, that's pretty creative. How cool! But with two of them it just becomes redundant, plus, "EoTW" doesn't sound good, unlike EoEO. So I think you should change it back. I don't think anyone is going to agree with me though.

I like having similar names for both fora. They're related, since they're the two 'serious discussion' fora where the rules are generally enforced most strictly. Anyone who's EoEO banned can't access either.

Overall, I'm not too worried by what name it's got... but EotW is consistent.

I like "Eyes on World Events."That fits. It incorporates the old name and the new name, so everyone should be happy, in theory.

A better option would be this:

1) Close the forum

2) Delete every thread

3) Create three new threads which have a title but no posts.
One thread can be called, "Bush sucks and so does US foreign policy".
The next thread can be "Terrorists are evil and must be stopped at any cost".
The third and final thread can be "Some stuff happened somewhere else but no-one cares because it didn't involve Bush or terrorists".

Following this simple 3-step plan will condense the entire world events forum into a concise bundle. Every single thread ever in that forum fits into those three categories, so it'd save a lot of wasted time.

Technically you can't flame anywhere, but only EoEO and EotW have strict no flaming, no spamming policies. Those two forums are intended for serious discussion whereas the gaming forums are meant to talk about games therefore should entail a bit more fun and silliness.
