We're talking about in the theatres here. Just so you know.

Anyway, I'm normally pretty good about picking good movies to go out and see, but I misstepped badly with Tomb Raider. Good gravy, that movie is awful. Awful awful awful.

Okay, your turn.

I don't go see that many movies. Titanic, probably. What a piece of crap, but I knew it would be. Watching it was like looking at the pile of vomit someone left on the floor.

I liked The Village.
The worst movie I've ever paid to see is definately Passion of the Christ.
It was just awful.

The village. I saw the end plot twist from the first quarter of an hour when the movie started and it was stoopid. I wouldnt have minded it being so boring if there was a monster but...there wasnt. gawwwd what a piece of crap.

04-18-2005, 07:50 PM
The Village was awesome in my opinion. The worst movie ever that I rented was 8 Miles. Oh my god, if only I could have that 5 dollar bill back...

Probably Hitch, which I saw a couple of days ago.
Aww, I loved Hitch.

Worst movie I ever paid to see? Babe: Pig in the City.

Worst movie I was forced into watching, but refused to pay money to see: Crossroads and The Core.

Just Married.
That marked a whole new low on the 'sheer badness' scale.
It's the closest I've ever come to walking out of a movie. The only reasons I didn't were (1) I paid money to see it, and (2) I didn't want to risk offending the friend who insisted we see it:rolleyes2

Kirobaito
04-19-2005, 02:06 AM
<i>Impostor</i>, that movie with Gary Sinise in it based on the short story of the same name. Good God, that movie was horrible.

I don't go to a lot of movies and I have a hard time remembering all the movies I have gone to see, but one sticks out in my mind during the last few years. It is called Basic and it stars John Travolta. My friend wanted to see it, I didn't. Turns out I was right.

04-19-2005, 03:20 AM
Paid money for? Probably Sin City, then. Perhaps I'll explain myself, but I already had a stupid argument over this movie today with a friend of mine. But God...I just want to forget that movie. Please. >_<

Please tell me that Rasputen was banned for dissing Kill Bill.

The worst movie I've ever seen in theatres was, without a doubt, King Arthur.

Man, way for me to waste thirty bucks of Joe's money in one shot xD

Sephex

Cabin Fever. Then again, that banjo scene at the end almost made up for how terrible that movie was.

The Village. When it ended, I almost thought it was a joke. I'm not sure if a pheasable plot has ever been more absent from a film (bar 'Boogie Nights' - but I'm sure we can forgive in that case).

Cabin Fever. The only movie I ever walked out on in a theatres. I was just gross, nothing else, wasn't scary or anything, just gross. Worst piece of **** ever made in my opinion. I would've paid to get out of seeing that movie if I had to.

The Girl With The Pearl Earrings....I misread the titled for another piece of jewelry and thought it was porn...I wasted £10 on Kleenex & hand cream for nothing. Blockbuster will no longer recieve my sweaty palmed custom after that hoodwink.

I can't really think of a WORST movie. I was little disappointed by the end of Sin City. I's kinda xpectn a big blowout near the end.

I don't think any particular movie stands out as being the worst, probably because i'm not too picky. But the last movie I saw was Ring 2 and that totally disapointed me.

About 6 months ago I rented Boa vs. Python. It was hilariously awful...which was, in fact, the point. I spent the whole weekend watching that and other crappy movies that came on the Sci-Fi channel and then wrote an article on them for my school paper. :D

I think it was called "They Live." Or something of the sort. :p It's the one where he can see aliens with a special pair of sunglasses, right?

Worst one I ever saw was Battlefield Earth or some crap like that. I have never walked out on a movie before but the thing was just pure crap. There's $5.25 I'll never see again. :p

Probably either Dungeons and Dragons, or Vanilla Sky. At the least the former was (unintentionally) amusing, whereas the latter almost sent me to sleep.

Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou ... worst. movie. ever.

Eh? That film was excellent.

Bounce. Don't even remember what it was supposed to be about. I don't think I could figure it out even as I saw it. Mission Impossible 2 was also pretty horrible; we were laughing out loud when Tom Cruise and that other guy body slammed into each other in mid-air. It looked dumb.

Triple X was also the worst movie I've seen for free. Ugh. It's title should have been: "Explosions and Rehashed Transoportatioon Vehicle Crashes With Occasional Incomprehensable Dialouge."

I didn't pay to see Van Helsing... but I'm glad I too my girlfriend along. She helped me get through that trite.

Probably Johnny English. That toilet scene was too much, and what's whit that Bond-thing anyway, those movies are a parody of themselves already >.< And also, Mr. Bean sucks. (Rowan Atkinson was good as Zazu's voice in the Lion King, though :D)

Vertical Limit was quite bad also. I can't even remember what happened... Okay it's been about three/four years since I saw it but bleh.

Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers was a disappointment aswell, the worst of the trilogy. Too much of... something. I don't really know. It could've been a good trilogy if they hadn't taken the battles to the extremes, and they should've thrown Liv Tyler back into her father's music videos, Arwen doesn't belong into the story, she should've jsut been in the end saying "hello honey darling let's celebrate" and that's it.

Cabin Fever was pathetic! Just a question were Karen and the guy who Rider Strong played together? I didn't watch the beginning but when he's in the hospital he thinks about Karen so that made me think that they were together. If they were going out then that guy deserved to fukcing rot after shagging his girlfriend's BEST FRIEND while she was rotting away in the bloody shed with a wild dog running around!!!! SONOFABITCH!!!!!!!!! K I'm fine now and if they weren't together then excuse my outburst. Poor acting, poor script and just full of sex :rolleyes2

The most pathetic movie I'd paid money to see was 'Matchstick men'. Complete tripe, I ended up dumping most of my popcorn on my (ex) boyfriend's head and then chucking popcorn at people because I was so bored.

Bubble Boy. I have NO idea why i ever felt the need to drag my ass up to the theater just to see a biggest pile of s*** ever made. It's funny, because after seeing, i read a review in which it got half a star!!!

Seriously though, if you ever feel inclined to see this movie, find something better to do (like scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush.) :D

Robots. The reason I watched it? My cousins and I had been buying tickets to various movies, all of which were full. We kept getting different movie tickets (thankfully, they didn't charge us for each new one) until we were going to watch Guess Who. Then we waited for 45 minutes and found out that they had changed the movie because of *insert random technical problem here* and instead put on Robots. We were to fricken' tired of wandering around, and thus suffered through its stupidity. Stupid movie theatre :mad2:

The recent <I>Amityville Horror</i> movie was the only movie where I wished I'd not paid $8 on. I'd been waiting for it for awhile, and I was entertained, but I wouldn't see any enjoyment from watching it again. I feel I got too little out of it for $8.
