So MNF, a 36-year ABC institution, is moving to ESPN next season. Not only that, but Sunday night games are moving to NBC, which had been out of the game for close to a decade.

I'm not so sure I like this move, mainly because not everyone has ESPN. Because the NFL is so popular and because MNF, for the most part, is pretty popular, too, wouldn't it have made more sense to leave it on ABC? Just wondering.

What do you all think of this? CBS and Fox will still be airing AFC and NFC matchups, respectively, but the Monday Night move is pretty big.

well, I don't have cable, so now I can watch Sunday night games but not Monday night games. I guess that's fine.

I don't have cable but I would rather watch the Sunday night game over the Monday night game anyways.

I don't really care what channel they are on.

edit: if they were to fire John Madden, however, I would probably do a little dance in my living room.

I don't have cable, so eh. They did this with the NBA All-Star game too. ABC just airs one playoff game a week. It's bull to be honest. I wish ABC quit hyping itself to be this great sports channel. The only sporting events ABC really covers is like, ice-skating and crap.

Oh well, I don't mind the NBC move, I always respected NBC trying to balance sports and programming.
