Cloud vs. Sephiroth

Someone told me that in Kingdom Hearts Cloud fights Sephiroth, I beat the game but I don't remember that being in it, is it like a sidequest thing or something?

That was an extra scene added to KH: final mix which was only eleased in japan. I think I can find screenshots if you want some.

Well, in the origional japanese KH, Sephiroth, Phantom, and Kurt Ziza, or however you spell it, were not in there, like they are in the U.S/ European releases. So the final mix is essentially all of those in, plus a little more.

Since the question for this topic has already been answered, should it be closed, or can we continue to talk about the scene between Cloud and Sephiroth (known as Final Showdown by many)?
I've downloaded the video, and nearly wet myself when I watched it. It's great! *does jig* And, I guess it's only fair to the Japanese that they do have other things, seeing as how they didnt' have some of our stuff. heh. I'm uber obsessed with the vids from Final Mix...I also downloaded the Riku scene, when he arrives at Hollow Bastion...Tee hee!

Damn it, that sucked. The fight only JUST gets started in that video. It says it's 2 and a quarter minutes long. But it stops before it even hits 2 minutes. Those evil people shouldn't even be advertising the video if they won't even show it in its entirety...

that's how the video ends. They start the fight, and the video ends in a flash of light, not because of bandwidth. You'll never know who has won, because there is no proof to saying that Sephi, or Cloud won.

Some people might say that you can see Cloud at the end of the game in the credits, therefore he won the fight. Not true, because even if you don't see him fight Sephi, you'll still see him in the credits.

So, as I said, the video ends in a flash of light. I downloaded Showdown of Fate from many different sites, and they endup the same. I read many arguments and duscussions about the video, and everyone agreed that the video ends in a flash of light, so stop your wailing. You won't know who one...

Oh, I wasn't wailing, but thanks for the explenation. Still odd that it says its over 2 minutes long and cuts out before even reaching 2 minutes. And I can understand their need to make suspense. But they coulda made it longer >_>
