Anybody here enjoy cooking? I find it to be both rewarding and fun, and so I cook every chance I get. It also helps that my dad is a cook, since he give me all sort of minor pieces of advice.

All I can cook's Scrambled eggs. Although, with that, I occasionally make a Taco-Egg salad. :p Yummy.

I'm a terrible cook, though I'm pretty good at ordering food and picking it up.

I have an interest in cooking and enjoy watching chefs prepare dishes, though sometimes when I find out what goes into a particular dish or course, my appetite lessens.

Take care all.

I know how to microwave a peanut butter sandwich ad then throw it away and drink a glass of water with some leftover cheese.

When I was little I used to be glued to the tv screen if a cooking show was on.

Now, I like cooking newbies! I can't right now though :( Mandatory vacation.

I don't get how people find cooking difficult. It's sooo easy. I cook a fair bit. Simple but tasty stuff, like fajitas, chili con carne, spag bol, pasta with crab and lime, hamburgers...

I mostly just like making sweets. I'll make biscuits and stuff, but I don't like making fancy dinners or anything. I'll just bake some simple sweets and I'm happy. :)

I like to cook, and the food I make wont kill you, but I find it impossible to follow a recipe. :(

I think you know my answer.

I'm going to Culinary College this September. Looking forward to it very much.

I've been volunteering at a place called Chives Bistro (www.chives.ca) on Barrington Street in Halifax for about three years now. I've come so far that I'm starting to train the cooks to do lunch line since both Craig and Darren (head chefs) are too busy to do it, since they're focusing much of their time on the dinner line (which is more important, clearly.) The cooks on the lunch line are all high school dropouts - Craig hires them because he believes that everyone deserves a second chance (he dropped out of high school himself) - but sometimes they don't believe that I'm the one who's training them. Infact, when one individual named Mark found out I was the one who was training him (he was in his late 30's), he walked out. :p

Cooking is cool, I wouldn't say I'm too bad at it. The end product is usually edible, anyway.

I'm a good cook... I make one hell of a lasagne.

I can make eggs, that's about it. I have a fear of boiling water and using the stove, so I like to have my Mom in the kitchen if I cook anything. My brother, who is 2 years younger than me, cooks pretty well by himself, if it's only hot dogs that he cooks.

EDIT: I'd rather just throw quesadillas in the microwave. :)

I never really cooked much as I was growing up, but now I basically have to live off of my cooking skills. And I have no measuring devices, so I have to trust my instincts as well. I think it's actually really fun. Nothing I've cooked has ended up inedible, and most of it's been pretty tasty. And speaking of cooking... it's almost dinner time and I'm going to go do some more of it!!
