Anyone else a fan? (Anyone else even heard of him?) If so have you heard
his live album, C'Etait Ici? I'm listening to it again right now and pooping
myself. :p

He did the music for the movies Amelie and Goodbye Lenin along with a
number of amazing solo albums and a new album that was just released,
a duet between him and Shannon Wright. He also plays like every
instrument known to man.

Haha, this coincidental. Just this past week I've been getting in to Yann Tiersen. :P

I've only heard the Amélie soundtrack and a recording of his Lenoir session he did on a French radio station so far. I'm definitely going to find some of his other works, because I'm really liking them. Beautiful music. :)

My favorite studio album is Le Phare, but his live albuls (C'Etait Ici and
Black Sessions) are amazing. Try to find the song Ginette from the Black
Sessions.
